Product Development / R&D Engineer

Job Description

This position will:

Drive new product vision, strategy, and execution in collaboration with cross-functional teams to grow solar racking market share

This person will be part of leading the team that is responsible for concept, testing, developing, and delivering in high-volume and manufacturability.

The role will focus on creative problem-solving and collaborative work necessary to build prototypes

What will you be doing?

Development: As a team member this is hands-on work where you will help to envision, design, and prototype solar racking products for fixed tilt and tracker systems

Testing: You will ensure all products meet performance and reliability standards through rigorous field testing and data collection.

Innovate: Work with suppliers and collaborators to develop new materials and designs that are needed for our solar solutions. Utilize software design capabilities to increase design cycle learning speed.

This position requires strong strategic thinking and decision-making abilities and the ability to quickly process large amounts of information, assess critical issues, and resolve problems in a timely manner using critical thinking.
