About the Role

My Code is looking for a Product Marketing Director (Brand Management) to join our Marketing team. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Marketing & Brand Management, you will lead My Code's B2B marketing efforts targeted at brands, advertising agencies, and media publishers seeking to reach diverse audiences - in support of our commercial strategy team and on key accounts and verticals. This role involves a combination of active collaboration with sales teams, strategic thinking, storytelling, materials creation, and project management. The ideal candidate has experience with content and media brands/platforms, is a champion for inclusive marketing, and has a point of view on how to craft stories that resonate with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities:

Internal Collaboration

Collaborate with sales, marketing, media solutions and research teams in support of our key accounts, key agency relationships, key verticals, and narratives for key events.

  • Manage a feedback loop between Sales, Media Solutions, and Marketing to understand client needs and industry trends & translate learnings into sales materials and B2B marketing campaigns
  • Regularly update internal teams on new marketing initiatives, research findings, and client feedback to ensure alignment and informed decision-making

Sales Support

Provide sales support to internal teams, including vertical and client research, intelligence center collaboration, materials creation, training, and support for client meetings, to drive retention of revenue and growth in new clients.

  • Lead the marketing strategy for My Code's comprehensive advertising solutions (aka "products"), establish success criteria and measure against it
  • Contribute vertical-specific solutions to all "Sales Enablement" Packages, if appropriate.
  • Create a sales material plan, and then develop and deliver sales and training materials
  • Agency Relationships: Develop and execute outreach programs to target relationship building with various agencies. Craft messaging & collateral.
  • Take a "customer service" approach to all work, seeking to be a great partner to the teams you interface with

Positioning & Brand Strategy

Understand the My Code brand and communicate it effectively through sales materials.

  • Collaborate with the Sr. Director of Marketing & Brand Management to ensure consistent brand My Code messaging and positioning across all marketing channels
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape to inform and adjust brand strategy
  • Socialize new approaches to telling the My Code story and incorporate winning approaches into materials.

Research Collaboration

Partner with research to develop and amplify vertical-specific insights-driven storytelling about diverse consumers broadly, and My Code audiences specifically, that strengthens and differentiates the My Code brand and informs client advertising strategies and campaigns.

  • Collaborate with RMG and B Code Brand Managers to add audience-specific insights.
  • Create a strategy for, and oversee implementation of, GTM to externalize vertical-specific research findings, via external channels (social, email marketing, PR, events/stages, etc)
  • Develop and aggregate opportunities to accompany the vertical Intelligence Center findings for Sales to take to clients
  • Infuse insights from research into My Code thought leadership, product strategy and messaging

External B2B Marketing Collaboration

Participate in initiatives that drive awareness of My Code among brand marketers and the agency community, such as

  • Case studies
  • Award wins
  • Research
  • Thought leadership
  • Events

Project Management & Measurement

  • Create project plans, establish milestones, and drive projects to completion
  • Develop plans to measure the impact of your team's work

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of marketing experience, including at least three years of media and publisher experience
  • Management experience: cross-functional leadership skills
  • Experience driving successful go-to-market strategies for new and existing products and aligning marketing messaging to a larger brand narrative
  • Experience translating data into insights, and insights into recommended action, applied to messaging, positioning, and packaging
  • Ability to balance creative, conceptual thinking with a data-driven mindset; identify and assess success metrics
  • Excellent B2B writing and deck-building skills, translating abstract concepts into compelling product storytelling
  • A self-starter who can operate both autonomously and collaboratively
  • Excellent prioritization, organization, and communication skills
  • A positive spirit, inclusive mentality, diplomatic approach, and growth mindset
  • Comfort with leading amongst changes of a growing organization

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $120,000-$130,000. The salary and bonus structure is determined on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
