Outback Presents is seeking a qualified, senior-level candidate to fill a Production Manager position. This is a full-time salaried position with benefits, responsible for the following:


  • Advancing and organizing all aspects of a music show at the arena and stadium level, across multiple different cities. This includes technical information, rider requirements, venue and artist correspondence, and hospitality needs.
  • Negotiating with vendors as needed to supply gear and labor needed within budget
  • Managing all day-of-show responsibilities as a representative of Outback Presents. Responsible for overseeing load in to load out, artist/tour interactions, budget management, and customer service/client relations.


Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years experience as a Production Manager in arenas and stadiums
  • Experience working in multiple different markets across a tour (as opposed to regional or venue-specific)
  • Strong working knowledge of production equipment (sound, lights, video, etc.) – not ability to operate, but fluent in discussing and coordinating at the arena and stadium level.
  • Ability to travel up to 20 days per month during busy seasons
  • The following skills would be preferred, but not required: Site operations/management (in a stadium and/or festival setting) and proficiency using AutoCAD software.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate nights/weekends/holidays/travel days
  • Basic understanding of show settlements
  • Basic ticketing knowledge, including ticket audit interpretation, capacity changes, and patron relocation
  • Strong communication skills and highly organized
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as individually on specific projects
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) as well as Google platform as server
  • Ability to adhere to budgets when producing events, corresponding with tour, venue, vendors, and contractors
  • Must work well under pressure and in high stress environments, professional, good decision maker and analytical thinker.
