YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Summary:

At Brenntag Great Lakes, we are in search of a Production Supervisor. The Production Supervisor creates an environment that promotes employee awareness and problem solving at our plant which is open 24 hours. The Production Supervisor provides leadership and support to department employees to safely and efficiently produce inventory and distribute chemical products to meet customer requests and expectations.

Job Description:

• Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Provide training, guidance and support to employees on safe handling of products and ensure the right product and documentation are distributed.
• Manage the shift by delegating duties, assigning tasks, monitoring task execution, and following up with all team members.
• Conduct operational warehousing a production (bulk (un-)loading, filling, mixing and blending) activities within the respective shifts.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality guidelines during the respective shifts.
• Maintain accurate forecasting and production planning to ensure optimal inventory and production efficiency.
• Execute selected administrative activities related to the shift work.
  
  
  
  

YOUR PROFILE

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or equivalent work experience
• Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Strong mathematical and reasoning skills
• Strong computer skills including understanding of ERP systems and desktop applications
• Some environmental compliance knowledge preferred
