We are looking to expand our team and have an immediate long-term opportunity for a Project Architect. This position will compliment an existing team of professionals and will allow you to build on your career with opportunities including project involvement from concept to punchlist, project management, client relations and mentoring of less experienced team members.


Responsibilities

  • Assist Clients in developing project requirements and design criteria
  • Contribute and coordinate the work of the team through multiple phases of a project
  • Collaborate with multiple disciplines and coordinate all drawings and specifications
  • Provide quality assurance and technical reviews throughout multiple phases of projects
  • Review drawings for code compliance
  • Meet with various governing agencies to review code compliance on projects
  • Coordinate full sets of contract documents including drawings and writing architectural specifications for bidding
  • Attend and conduct construction meetings with Clients and Contractors
  • Provide Construction Administration services such as review submittals/shop drawings, review change order requests, and answer contractor questions
  • Support team sustainability by pursuing business development opportunities


Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Architecture degree required
  • Registered Architect required
  • Minimum 4 years of experience architectural experience with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Strong technical project detailing and documentation skills required.
  • Experience in preparation of architectural contract documents and specifications.
  • Proficiency in IBC, NFPA, and ADA code requirements required.
  • Candidates must have excellent written, communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and work on several projects at one time.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Sketchup, and Revit.
