Responsibilities:

  • Addresses employee complaints and issues. Conducts investigations as needed. Establishes and maintains the posting of all local, federal and state required documentation for all locations.
  • Create succession plans, and implement strategies for attracting, developing, and engaging top talent.
  • Offer thought to leadership regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution.
  • Provide HR expertise in the areas of feedback, employee relations, development and coaching, compensation, and organizational development.
  • Educate, coach, and partner with managers on performance management and employee development goals.
  • Prepare and analyze reports monthly on HR KPI's to help guide decisions and provide proactive solutions.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to champion and accelerate a culture of excellence in which people feel engaged and inspired to deliver top business results.
  • Administer Auto Accident activities by gathering information regarding accidents, coordinating activities between employees, insurance carrier, repair facility and supervisor.
  • Administer Worker’s Compensation activities by gathering information regarding incidents and reporting the information to the insurance company. Coordinating activities between the employee, adjuster and supervisor.
  • Conduct Workers' Compensation claims audits on a periodic basis. Confer with VP of HR and personnel staff as to claims status. Provide insight and recommendation on claim handling. Review/audit Workers' Compensation statements to ensure reasonable and correct charges.
  • Conducts legal research on labor and employment laws for each state in the region of responsibility to ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws. Provide recommendation to management as needed. Partner with outside vendors to ensure labor posters are up to date in each location.
  • Provides interpretation and application of company HR policies and legal regulations. Creates and implements corporate policy and procedures based on necessity or request.
  • Coordinate with Workers' Compensation Carrier to establish risk-reducing practices.
  • Full-cycle onboarding to include background screening, drug screening & physical authorizations, first day schedule for new hires. Keep open communication with hiring managers throughout the process to ensure a streamlined approach.
  • Create accounts with medical facilities across the nation for administration of pre-placement exams and treatment for industrial accidents. Maintain corporate protocol and act as liaison between all branches and facilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree (B. A.) in Human Resources or a related field
  • Bilingual (Spanish)
  • Strong people management skills
  • Analytical abilities
  • Knowledge of HR metrics and labor legislation
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • 5-7 years of relevant HR experience (in a Regional HR role). This includes experience in various HR functions such as employee relations, talent management, performance management, and organizational development.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time, collaborate with local service centers and training management team to ensure skills development of service technicians.
