An important international machinery manufacturer is looking for a Key Account Manager who will develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets, foster account growth, and identify new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will also conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess their needs, address concerns, and provide solutions that meet their objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Visit existing customers and provide technical information about the company products, keeping them updated on new technologies and new business opportunities within the group to maintain an ongoing relationship
  • Prospect and capture new potential customers by researching new markets, receiving contact suggestions, and establishing communication, presenting and negotiating machines, parts, and services, aiming to close the sale
  • Understand the customers' production process to provide tailored-made machinery
  • Follow up with customers on commercial proposals and monitor budgets sent, with the aim of maintaining data collection and reports to ensure sales and meet targets
  • Prepare sales orders, register them in the system, and monitor project execution to maintain the schedule for customers
  • Monitor activities related to export processes (Documents/Manufacturing/Support); updating the customer on schedule changes if necessary
  • Complete reports and various materials necessary for the execution of the work, such as PAYTRACK expense report, visit report (CRM PLOOMES), prospecting activity report, portfolio presentations, etc
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market developments, anticipating changes in customer needs and adapting solutions to meet evolving requirements
  • Negotiate contract renewals and price agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for the company and key customers
  • Analyze competitor activities and market dynamics, adjusting account strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive advantage
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and key account metrics, using data-driven insights to measure success and drive continuous improvement
  • Participate in Fairs, Events, and Exhibitions to divulge and promote the company brand portfolio
  • Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to gain a comprehensive understanding of their production processes, challenges, and goals. This will be achieved through frequent travel and in-person meetings
