Job Description: Regional Sales Director

Cultured Kombucha Co. is a fast-paced, ambitious company poised for significant growth.

Cultured Kombucha Co seeks a quick-thinking, strategic, and relationship-focused team member to build our growing distribution and sales market. This will include establishing relationships, closing new accounts, and increasing existing velocities within our account territory for Michigan. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong attention to detail and the communication skills required to thrive in a small business environment.

This position will be responsible for business development, territory expansion, daily account visits, and client relationship building. Our sales representative is also responsible for communicating growth strategically with production facilities, daily troubleshooting, and merchandising. Success in this role means taking an organized and analytical approach to our current sales strategy while creating efficient and scalable systems for growth. Success is documented in this role by revenue growth, account expansion, and territory development. This position plays an active role in daily operations and is also expected to contribute their expertise to improving processes, maximizing efficiency, and promoting healthier lifestyle choices - one sip at a time.

The ideal candidate must live in the Southeast corridor of Michigan.


What you’ll brew:

  • Execute independent sales objectives using CKCo. systems and selling process for direct distribution
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize within a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (oral & written).
  • Strong analytical, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Learn and be proficient in beverage industry knowledge, brewing, and CKCo. product styles
  • Hunt for new business opportunities while growing current business
  • Demonstrate advanced level proficiency within Google Office Suite, CRM systems, and cell phone technologies.
  • Utilize effective verbal and written communication with wholesaler, accounts, and coworkers including ability to deliver impactful presentations
  • Conduct monthly/quarterly Planning & Review meetings to benchmark current progress to goal and sell CKCo. objectives
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc. Recommend changes in product, services, and policy by evaluating results.
  • Continuously improve through feedback
  • Utilize sample inventories to promote product sales
  • Participate in company outreach events.
  • Exhibit discipline and innovativeness to meet assigned monthly quotas
  • Participate in sales meetings, on-site training, and trade events to maintain knowledge of product/suppliers

What Ingredients You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor degree in Business or Management, Marketing, Sales, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Superior cold-calling selling skills to generate new business for the following
  • 3+ years Consumer Package Sales to include proven success with managing and developing a team and individuals
  • Proven track record of selling accomplishments within CPG
  • Valid driver's license, registered and insured vehicle, and ability to drive to and from accounts continuously
  • Requires lifting and carrying of 40+ lbs. of product on a regular basis and extensive travel throughout assigned territory.

Compensation:

Base Salary + Commission

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25,000.00 to $110,000.00 /year (Base + Commission)
