Regional Senior Service Director
The Regional Senior Service Director will lead the overall sales and operations within a defined region for FleetPride's service business unit. This role will be responsible for growing sales, improving operational efficiency, and fostering a customer-centric culture across multiple service areas within the region. The Regional Senior Director will oversee three to six Service Area Managers and collaborate with them to ensure the success of individual service centers, which make up each area. The ideal candidate is a strategic and innovative leader with a proven track record of driving sales growth and operational excellence in the heavy-duty truck service industry.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Leadership:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve growth targets across the region.
- Monitor sales performance and trends, providing strategic guidance and actionable insights to Service Area Managers.
- Identify opportunities for expanding services and building customer relationships, focusing on increasing market share and profitability.
Operational Oversight:
- Ensure that all service centers operate efficiently, maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Service Area Managers to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve processes, systems, and operational practices.
Mentorship and Team Development:
- Attract, retain, and development to Service Area Managers, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and operational excellence.
- Assist Service Area Managers in building and maintaining strong teams within their respective service centers, focusing on training and employee development.
Business Growth and Strategy:
- Collaborate with executive leadership to set regional goals and align business objectives with the company’s overall service strategy.
- Leverage data and industry trends to forecast regional demand, plan capacity, and optimize resource allocation.
- Lead business development efforts in partnership with sales teams, expanding the customer base and service offerings within the region.
Customer Relations:
- Maintain a strong customer focus by ensuring service excellence, resolving escalated customer issues, and building long-term relationships.
- Collaborate with key customers and stakeholders to align service offerings with customer needs.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field; or equivalent work experience
- Experience in a multi-unit management position mentoring mid-level managers
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze metrics and implement action plans
- Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in sales and operations, preferably within the heavy-duty truck service or a related industry.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth, operational improvements, and team development.
- Strong understanding of the heavy-duty truck and trailer parts and service market.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to develop and execute strategies that drive both top-line revenue and operational efficiency.
