As a Research Associate, you’ll support the technical resolutions team to resolve customer complaints, manufacturing issues, and CAPAs for clinical assays and platforms from Bio-Rad’s Clinical Diagnostics portfolio. You will execute chemistry and hardware investigations as an operator for multiple Bio-Rad instruments from the diabetes to immunology platforms. Partnering with engineers, marketing, product support and other cross-functional teams, you’ll maintain product quality and customer satisfaction as you exercise the ability to analyze data and to formally report results. The contributions of this position will ensure the continued success of Bio-Rad’s legacy products and empowering our customers to continue and improve healthcare outcomes for millions.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $82,000 to $123,000 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.

How You’ll Make An Impact
Provide high-quality technical resolutions for clinical assays and platforms:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to expedite technical investigations to meet customer complaints/issues.
- Support CAPA, Manufacturing, and Technical investigations involving product quality, performance, and/or regulatory compliance issues
- Conduct investigations and develop mitigations and corrective actions including the data analysis and documentation.
- Interact with R&D, Manufacturing, Marketing, RA/QA, QE, QC and other Bio-Rad sites as needed for sustaining legacy products.
- Exercise strong problem solving skills, technical proficiency, and ability to collaborate within team and cross-functionally.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biological Sciences or related field.
- Work Experience: 2+ years of practiced knowledge, skills and abilities in development/product support of immunoassays and related instrumentation or combination of education, training, and experience. Experience performing verification and validation studies is a plus.
- Hands on experience with instrument hardware, software, assay chemistry related to high pressure liquid chromatography and or immunoassays, ELISA or similar technologies.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with demonstrated ability to resolve complex situations that require a logical, analytical and methodical approach.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Committed to customer satisfaction; quality focused; resourceful; able to work independently and in a team environment.
