Our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction drives everything we do, and we're looking for a versatile Retention Marketing Manager to join our team and help us build lasting relationships with our customers.

Job Description:

As the Retention Marketing Manager at CAKES body, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategies to maximize customer retention and lifetime value. You will be responsible for managing our email and SMS marketing campaigns, overseeing direct mail efforts, and optimizing our ecommerce website to enhance customer experience and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Email & SMS Marketing:
  • Develop, implement, and optimize email and SMS marketing strategies to increase customer retention and loyalty.
  • Oversee the planning, execution of the email/SMS campaign process and workflow.
  • Create and manage segmentation strategies to deliver personalized and relevant content to different customer segments.
  • Analyze campaign performance and use insights to refine messaging, frequency, and targeting.
  • Manage the email and SMS calendar, ensuring timely and consistent communication with customers.
  • Direct Mail Campaigns:
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and analysis of direct mail campaigns to engage existing customers and re-engage lapsed ones.
  • Collaborate with copywriting and graphic design to produce compelling direct mail materials that resonate with our audience.
  • Track and report on the effectiveness of direct mail initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Ecommerce Website Management:
  • Collaborate with the our back end web manager and development agency to optimize the ecommerce website for customer retention and repeat purchases.
  • Implement strategies to improve site navigation, product recommendations, and overall user experience.
  • Monitor key ecommerce metrics, identify trends, and propose enhancements to drive higher conversion rates.
  • Customer Insights & Analytics:
  • Utilize data and customer insights to inform retention strategies and optimize customer touchpoints.
  • Conduct regular analysis of customer behavior, churn rates, and retention metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership to inform overall business strategy.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive and seamless customer experience across all touchpoints.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and partners as needed to execute retention initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in retention marketing for an ecommerce brand, with a strong focus on email and SMS.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation tools, such as Shopify, Klaviyo and PostPilot.
  • Creative mindset with a customer-centric approach to marketing.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
