Conduct and documents moderately complex audit fieldwork. Apply knowledge of credit risk management, operations, and business processes to complete assignments. Interacts with internal project teams and senior leadership. May provide work direction and guidance to lower-level auditors and new staff. The level of work is intermediate, and staff will work with support. This job does not have any direct reports. You will report to the Audit Manager.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Participate in audit planning and brainstorming activities.
  • Conduct moderately complex audit fieldwork, including preparing work papers observing IIA standards Performs on-going monitoring and important indicator reviews of specific responsibilities.
  • Identify risks and articulate their impacts.
  • Assess the basic design and operating effectiveness of IT general controls.
  • Assess how key controls are incorporated into business applications.
  • Develop findings and report documentation.
  • Present findings to senior leadership
  • Perform follow-up on reported findings and documents results.
  • Ensure work papers are prepared observing IIA standards.
  • Provide general guidance and training to new staff.
  • Be the Audit liaison for low to moderate risk business processes.
  • Participate in department, Bank or System-wide projects.
  • Assess the effectiveness of low to moderately complex projects to achieve intended goals and benefits, to deliver expected results, and to manage risks.
  • Help evaluate the design, function, and actual results from governance & oversight, project & risk management, quality assurance reviews, development/ acquisition, testing, and delivery.
  • Communication and stakeholder focused.

Your Background:

  • 1+ years of experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree; preferred field of study: Accounting, Finance or Business
  • CPA, CIA or CISA in progress
  • General understanding of Federal Reserve System business lines and strategies at local and System level
