The Choice, Inc. is partnering with a highly regarded national conservation nonprofit on a temporary to hire search for a Senior Coordinator. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role supporting leadership, operations, and projects for a team responsible for major gift fundraising, individual giving, and donor relations as part of a $1B fundraising initiative.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
  • At least three years relevant work experience in development, non-profit, project, or program management.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills with extreme attention to detail.
  • Strong computer and database skills (MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Raiser’s Edge, NXT, or comparable database).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of making sound decisions with good judgment and professionalism.
  • Experience with non-profits or mission-driven organizations desired; interest in fundraising and major gifts is a plus.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall support for the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Individual Giving & Foundation Relations.
  • Collaborate with the SVP on major gift fundraising efforts and team logistics to meet revenue goals.
  • Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, monitor actionable tasks, draft correspondence, manage expenses, and provide other administrative support.
  • Facilitate team’s gift agreements, contracts, and invoicing.
  • Assist in crafting donor-centric materials, such as proposals and stewardship reports.
  • Ensure accuracy of donor records in Raiser’s Edge NXT database and maintain electronic file storage on SharePoint.
  • Run major gift reporting on portfolio, gift, strategy, and constituent information.
  • Represent the Individual Giving team in cross-departmental meetings.
  • Assist with the National Council processes, including internal meeting agendas and philanthropy tracking.


Salary information:

Temporary Salary: $31-33/hr

Perm Salary: $65k-70k
