Base pay range

$190,000.00/yr - $240,000.00/yr
RealREPP, a full-service, nationally recognized recruiting firm is currently teaming with a global, innovative commercial real estate owner/developer to assist them in hiring a Senior Director, Facilities in undefined, undefined.

This organization is INNOVATIVE, stable, and actively developing. This role is open due to growth within the organization! This Senior Director, of Facilities will provide oversight and facilities management of a property portfolio and directly manage the facilities management staff to support the portfolio.

Responsible for functional capability of properties, maintenance, operation, and integrity of building systems, operations budget management and transitioning properties, buildings and suites from development and construction to operating phase.

Must Haves


  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, facilities management or related field required.
  • Certification in facilities management a plus.
  • 15 plus years of progressive facilities
  • Demonstrated ability to hire, train, develop, coach, manage, reward and lead multiple direct reports and oversee the teams’ assigned properties. Ability to teach, train and mentor other members of the facilities department as necessary.
  • Experienced leadership and management of facilities management team, maintenance staff and contractors.
  • Technical education and hands-on experience in some or all of the following disciplines: HVAC design and engineering, electrical design and engineering, plumbing design and engineering, and other building support systems including but not limited to fire/life safety systems and security.
  • Experience managing 24/7 operations with both union and non-union engineering and maintenance staff a plus.
  • Proven experience with sustainability and energy conservation programs in commercial or institutional buildings required, with LEED accreditation desirable.
  • Computer literate including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, AutoCad, CMMS, and BAS.
  • Ability to read and understand building plans and specifications.
  • Strong customer service focus and ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with regulatory agencies, vendors, contractors, tenants and employees.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate in a clear concise manner.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial terms and principles relating to facilities management and real estate transactions. The ability to forecast and prepare budgets and reports summarizing financial, operating and capital performance data.
  • Organized, task and detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with multiple deadlines.
  • Must be flexible to travel on occasion.
  • Must be flexible to work weekends and afterhours as necessary for any building related issues or shutdowns.
  • Manage portfolio energy data for: GRESB, ESPM, energy disclosures, energy models, utility allocations, and energy projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish trust, influence, collaborate and work effectively across departments within the company.
