Position Overview
The Senior Manager, Demand Planning is responsible for ensuring that product availability aligns with forecasted demand, both in the mid-term and long-term. This position requires strong collaboration with Sales, Product, and Operations teams to generate accurate forecasts and effectively manage demand across all HHP product categories. The Senior Manager will drive demand planning, conduct in-depth data analysis, generate insightful reports, and implement strategies to maximize sales while ensuring efficient supply chain management.

Role And Responsibilities
Position Overview
The Senior Manager, Demand Planning is responsible for ensuring that product availability aligns with forecasted demand, both in the mid-term and long-term. The Senior Manager will drive demand planning, conduct in-depth data analysis, generate insightful reports, and implement strategies to maximize sales while ensuring efficient supply chain management.
Role & Responsibilities
Demand Forecasting:
- Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts for various timeframes, including short-term, mid-term, and long-term, utilizing various forecasting methodologies.
- Analyze historical sales data, conduct thorough market research, analyze competitor activities, and identify key trends that influence demand.
- Incorporate seasonal fluctuations, promotional activities, and other relevant factors into demand forecasts.
- Regularly review and update forecasts based on actual sales data and prevailing market conditions.
- Conduct strategic demand management to maximize supply allocation for launch readiness within a limited supply
- Monitor inventory levels across all sales channels and proactively identify potential stockouts or instances of excess inventory to maximize sales opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with operations teams (SCM, Packaging, LPS, PM, etc.) to ensure timely order fulfillment and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Proactive demand operations to zero out part exposure before EOL
- Work closely with sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment of demand plans with overall business objectives including target plan, market share, and KPIs
- Communicate demand forecasts and inventory plans to relevant stakeholders weekly.
- Analyze sales & inventory data, and market trends using data analysis tools.
- Prepare regular reports that provide insights into demand forecasts, inventory performance, and KPIs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience OR 10+ years of experience managing CPFR relationships in the telecommunications, technology, or consumer product goods industries
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel functions, including experience with modeling and data analysis
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment
- Effective written and verbal communication at a professional level
- May require additional working hours beyond a normal schedule to meet high-stress, time-sensitive deadlines that can be both cyclical and dynamic
- Travel up to 15%
