Job Description:

We are on the lookout for an experienced growth professional to spearhead our business development growth initiatives and foster our growth strategy across the assigned region. The Regional Director, Growth will play a pivotal role in steering our regional growth operations, crafting strategic growth plans, and achieving ambitious growth goals. You will lead our regional growth teams, driving market expansion and enhancing our brand’s footprint in the assigned geography. This role will report into Vice President of Corporate Development. This direct contributor role demands close collaboration with the VP of Corporate Development and the senior management team to ensure growth strategies are in line with overarching company objectives and exceeding growth quotas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and elevate the regional growth teams’ performance, surpassing growth quotas.
  • Design and implement strategic growth plans tailored to the district energy customers’ unique needs.
  • Forge and nurture lasting relationships with key customers, ensuring an exceptional customer journey.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive dynamics to uncover new growth opportunities.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to deliver a superior customer experience strategy.
  • Deliver precise sales forecasts and insightful reports to the senior management team.
  • Guide and develop sales team members, enriching their industry knowledge and sales expertise.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences, enhancing brand visibility.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Over 15 years of proven organic and inorganic growth experience in the energy sector or closely related industries including 4+ years in a senior leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding growth targets and driving growth in a senior role.
  • In-depth knowledge of the energy markets, including customer trends and competitive landscape.
  • Exceptional leadership qualities with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic mindset with robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven capability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
  • Flexibility to travel (30-50% as required for regional oversight and business development purposes.
