Local Candidates Only/Hybrid Schedule- In Office Tuesday thru Thursday
This job is perfect if:
- You have at least 3 years of hands-on experience working on a brand’s social channels (in-house or agency side)
- You have an in-depth understanding of all social platforms and how to strategically leverage them for brand/fan engagement and paid placements (TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook, Reddit, Pinterest)
- You have your finger on the pulse of internet culture, you know the latest trends, and you can quickly identify opportunities for brands to activate
- You are eager to learn and collaborate with a team of strategists and creatives
- You have experience with social media reporting - organic, paid, and social listening
- You have experience with social media management and listening tools (e.g. Sprinklr)
The responsibilities of a Social Strategist on Verizon Value Brands
Social content and briefing:
- Manage Straight Talk, Tracfone, and Walmart Family Mobile’s (VVB) social
- Primary focus is Straight Talk, but will also be responsible for Tracfone & Walmart Family Mobile social
- Develop monthly organic social briefs for VVB’s social properties
- Schedule and post all organic social content through Sprinklr or natively when applicable
- Be the connective tissue between creative ideas and social platforms and partner with creatives to bring platform expertise to help flex creative concepts into social channels
- Find and apply trends, research, insights, and past performance to briefs
- Help action VVB’s social vision across platforms though planned organic and reactive social content
Reporting:
- Report on social performance for branded content
- Work with BI to do social reporting on branded social content
- Integration with wider creative and strategic KPIs
Platform Expertise:
- Keeping up with social trends – and share out with larger internal team to keep everyone up to speed
- Identify new social platforms and provide POVs
- Be the platform expert for all internal projects
Social Listening:
- Identify white space opportunities for social-only creative plays.
- Constantly monitor conversations and trends and pitch real time activations to the broader team
Compensation:
Deutsch LA offers top of the line benefits, 401K, unlimited PTO and more. The salary range for this role is $75,00K-$80,000K. Pay is dependent upon many factors ranging from experience, training, transferable skills, and business needs. The pay is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
