Job Description: Solar Sales Consultant
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Solar Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Solar Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for promoting and selling solar energy systems to residential and commercial customers. Your primary goal will be to educate potential clients about the benefits of solar energy and assist them in making informed decisions to switch to solar power.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and target markets.
- Generate leads through various channels such as networking, doorknocking and referrals.
- Meet with potential customers to assess their energy needs and provide information on solar energy systems.
- Present and demonstrate the benefits of solar energy systems, including cost savings, environmental impact, and government incentives.
- Design customized solar energy solutions based on customers' specific requirements and energy consumption patterns.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales proposals and quotations.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
- Provide exceptional customer service and post-sales support, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Collaborate with the installation team to ensure seamless project implementation.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, technology advancements, and government regulations pertaining to solar energy.
Requirements:
- Experience in sales, preferably in the solar energy industry is ideal but not necessary.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Results-oriented and able to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
