Sr. Advanced Infrastructure Consultant

Exciting 6 month plus contract opportunity in a fast-paced corporate financial environment

Must be a US Citizen and be able to pass a background check.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and validate technical information from client technical network, security, and application resources.
• Work closely with client Project Manager on planning and organization, acting as a bridge between the PM group and technical resources.
• Provide a solid understanding of restrictive protocols at the port level (SSH, TLS, FTP, etc.).
• Demonstrate expertise in operation and access to network, security, and application devices (Cisco, Arista, Palo, various application platforms).
• Navigate a fast-paced corporate financial environment driven by application network segmentation and Federal audit requirements.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with both technical and Project Management resources.
• Ensure accuracy and clarity in communicating technical information to non-technical Project Managers.
• Implement and enforce security protocols at the port level.
• Work with various network and application platforms (Cisco, Arista, Palo).
• Address and respond to Federal audit requirements.

Preferred Experience and Attributes:

• 10 years of experience in large enterprise environments.
• Excellent communication skills (10 out of 10) at all levels of an organization.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Highly collaborative and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Self-starter with the ability to take initiative.
• Understanding of CCIE/NP, CISSP, Arista, Palo.
• Expertise at the port level protocols is desirable
