The Role:

At Ora, we view our Talent Acquisition team members as the face of our company and the key to bringing in new Ora employees, our most valuable resource.


Our Senior Talent Acquisition Partner will work closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, source potential candidates, and lead the talent acquisition process for both Clinical Operations and Biometrics. This individual should be strategic, creative, and passionate about developing ways to help grow a talent acquisition function globally in partnership with our Talent Acquisition Manager. In addition, they will support the evolution of our talent acquisition strategy, build innovative ways to identify talent, deliver recruitment process excellence, and mentor junior members of the talent acquisition team.


This position is remote and will report to the Talent Acquisition Manager.


What You’ll Do:

  • Manage the full cycle recruiting process to meet the staffing needs of all levels within multiple business units, across the US and Europe, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
  • Develop strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and business leaders while serving as an employee advocate for new hires as well as established employees.
  • Maintain relationships with external recruiting partners and manage candidate pipeline in an organized fashion.
  • Track and report on upcoming, open, and filled positions weekly, while maintaining communication with candidates and hiring managers regularly to ensure position timelines are met.
  • Maintains strong data integrity in all information entered in our Greenhouse ATS to ensure data reporting accuracy.
  • Stay current on the company’s organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
  • Support the optimization of our talent acquisition strategy and systems to support business growth.
  • Develop creative approaches to support the Talent Acquisition roadmap in identifying and attracting qualified, diverse, active, and passive candidates for open positions and future opportunities.
  • Provide recruitment counsel and guidance to hiring managers and senior staff using talent analytics, hiring trends and competitive intelligence and research on our industry.
  • Lead successful talent marketing strategies, in partnership with Marketing, to drive and engage job seekers.
  • Design, develop and deploy talent programs and operations that support workforce planning, growth, ensuring a smooth candidate experience.
  • Lead, mentor, and guide junior talent acquisition team members, providing best practice and expertise in recruitment best practices.
  • Partner with senior leadership to understand organizational needs, workforce planning, and talent gaps.
  • Travel up to 10% of the time to attend college, career fairs, and conferences.
  • Adhere to all aspects of Ora’s quality system.
  • Adhere to all essential systems and processes that are required at Ora to maintain compliance to Ora’s data integrity & business ethics and regulatory requirements.
  • Clear and sustained demonstration of Ora’s values -- prioritizing kindness, operational excellence, cultivating joy and scientific rigor – as well as their linked behaviors.

What We Look For:


Experience Needed for the Role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. Years of experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition or recruiting, in Life Sciences.


Additional Skills and Attributes:

  • Demonstrated success in sourcing, attracting, and selecting candidates for diverse roles within Life Sciences, preferably a CRO.
  • Experience in Biometrics/Data Management recruitment is preferred.
  • Proven ability to act as a consultative partner to hiring managers and to mentor fellow recruiters on best practices, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Expertise in recruitment strategies, including direct sourcing, talent mapping, and passive candidate engagement.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business goals into effective talent acquisition strategies.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in utilizing advanced recruitment tools, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and data analytics.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying trends and opportunities in the talent acquisition landscape.

Benefit Eligibility: Full-time employees of Ora working a minimum of 30 hours per week. Our per diem workforce is eligible for Medical and Dental coverage once they have hit 6 months of service and work an average of 30 hours per week.
