Job Description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing month-end, quarter-end and year-end procedures
• Prepare and record monthly manual journal entries and upload into the general ledger
• Perform Sports Rights and programming accounting for Networks
• Perform Sports Live Events accounting for Networks
• Perform prepaid and deposit accounting
• Prepare set amortization schedules
• Prepare and support monthly and quarterly Balance Sheet account reconciliations
• Analyze general ledger account activity
• Assist in audit requests from external and internal auditors
• Perform other ad hoc projects and/or duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum one (1) year hands on accounting or finance experience
• CPA & Public Accounting experience, preferred
• Computer skills, including SAP, AOE, Excel
• Experience in media/entertainment industry preferred
• Accurate and efficient with ability to meet deadlines
• Highly organized and detailed oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills required
• Ability to work in a fast paced, dead-line driven environment
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
  
  

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
