Technical Copywriter

Our award-winning agency client is looking for a Technical Copywriter to start next month, 20+ hours per week for at least 3 months.

This role is hybrid in Irving, Texas, with 3 days onsite weekly (exact days discussed on hire).

The Technical Copywriter will write mostly instructive or educational, straightforward communications around pharmaceutical brands.

This role is for a self-starter who instinctively knows what is needed to complete each writing project and, even without all information provided, proactively researches and seeks answers.

Examples include: patient education materials, pharmaceutical claims verifications, communications materials for pharma employees, guidance on how to use communications materials, etc.

Technical Writer Requirements

• Portfolio of various technical and instructional communications - both edited and written
• Strong proofing and editing
• Pharmaceutical industry experience a huge plus
  
  

Technical Writer Responsibilities

• Simplify communications into most relevant and straightforward content needed based on audience and purpose of the content
• Thoroughly understand subject matter through own proactive investigation and research
• Incorporate and build knowledge of client's specific rules around what words can and cannot be used, how products are to be referenced, etc.
• Double check content for accuracy
• Proof and edit content
