Job Description

Your role at Tumi:

This is a temporary leadership role that reports into the Director of Creative Services, with close connectivity to the SVP, Global Marketing and Ecommerce. Support in directing campaign and product photography assets for all TUMI global needs covering all business channels (eCommerce, Retail Stores, Outlet and Wholesale); leveraging assets from TUMI’s creative agency. This individual will also oversee the creative oversight and execution of all digital deliverables, inclusive of guiding and assisting with production on ongoing projects such as site updates, social assets, email campaigns and paid media assets. This role will also help advise on additional creative elements such as packaging, on product packaging needs and in-store visual signage/imagery requests. Experience leading a small team of graphic designers and copywriting is a plus. You will work onsite 4 days and remote 1 day, weekly.

Responsibilities

  • Create and oversee photography and video brand concepts for assigned projects:
  • Be responsible for the creation, development, and finalization of assigned photography concepts (internal and external)
  • Lead small team of graphic designers and copywriter to assist/collaborate in the creation of concepting and execution of all content creation.
  • Partnership ongoing with outside creative Agency, especially with creative and pre-production planning elements, creative best practices, etc.
  • Close collaboration ongoing with copywriter on messaging /brand voice, as well as Marketing, VM and Social; close partnership and strong communication ongoing
  • Serve as creative point person for all incoming global content creation requests, both for execution, as well as those that require global HQ feedback/reviews/approvals.
  • Manage internal approvals and timeline of concepting development
  • Be responsible for briefing Agency on internally developed and approved concepting.
  • Use knowledge of approved and strategic marketing and product calendars, independently initiating photography projects so assets are delivered on time for launches – including PDP on model and video photography
  • Partnership with Marketing on seasonal shot lists, ensuring proper shoot planning and creative concepting.
  • Participate as a key contributor to externally concepted projects. To be the key agency contact to relay concepting feedback for assigned projects.
  • Pre-Production: make sure that all needed deliverables, specs, and usage are outlined in estimate and/or SOW.
  • Communication of image usage rights expirations
  • Creation and distribution of tool kit distributions and other global pertinent content sharing

We’re Excited If You Have

  • 7+ years experience in similar roles
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience on set of photo and video shoots
  • Experience concepting for photo and video shoots
  • Proficient in PowerPoint for creating decks
  • Ability to handle multiple requests on deadline
  • After Effects & video editing a plus
  • Exhibits positive attitude, willingness to learn and takes direction well
  • Knowledge of UX/product design with focus on user testing best practices a big plus
