Training Consultant Opportunity in Raleigh, NC Area
Job Description
The NC Department of Health and Human Services is seeking contract resources to support the training and implementation of the Child Welfare Information System (CWIS). The position involves analyzing CWIS functionality, developing and delivering learning solutions, and working closely with various teams and subject matter experts. This role includes designing training, developing course materials, and facilitating engaging training sessions for individuals overseeing Child Welfare programs.
Responsibilities
Analyze CWIS functionality to develop learning solutions
Collaborate with various teams to design training materials
Maintain and revise training materials for adult learners
Provide classroom and virtual facilitation of training sessions
Develop eLearning courses to support system implementation
Utilize Adobe FrameMaker templates and scripts for course materials
Requirements
3 years of experience in curriculum design and developing training materials for adult learners
3 years of experience in developing interactive media presentations for online education enhancement
Familiarity with Learning Management System (LMS) technology, including Moodle, XML, and HTML
Proficiency in business analysis and MS Office Suite (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
Travel Requirement
Statewide travel up to 30% of the time, including some evenings and weekends
Travel expenses reimbursement as per state protocol
Option to ride with a state vehicle or use personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement
Compensation
W-2 rate up to $23/hour
Must be living in the Raleigh area
