Us Weekly is seeking a part-time overnight editor-writer for UsMagazine.com, which is read by well over one million readers daily. This person will work a largely independent 6 to 8 hour shift (2-3 days, weekdays priority) beginning at 8pm EST 2-3 nights week — covering the most urgent, timely, buzzy and traffic-generating celebrity and entertainment news stories.
This is a high-paced, high-volume role. Candidates should have a deep well of experience writing online for celebrity/entertainment outlets, a knack for crafting creative, Us-friendly angles and SEO-savvy headlines, a sharp sense of our audience and brand voice, and an ease working in CMS and standard/basic photo editing. Overseas candidates are welcome.
Salary: $35.00 per hour
