Job Description

Brightspeed is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Vice President, Insights & Analytics to join our dynamic Marketing & Sales team. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping our data strategy and driving insights that inform business decisions. You will have a strong background in analytics, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to leverage advanced techniques to predict future trends and behaviors.

As Vice President, Insights & Analytics, your duties and responsibilities will include:

Data Strategy and Insights

  • Define and execute the sales and marketing analytics strategy for Brightspeed
  • Shape and promote a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization
  • Lead the exploration and adoption of new technologies and methodologies in data analytics and measurement

Predictive Analytics

  • Utilize advanced techniques to predict future trends and behaviors
  • Analyze customer data to understand behavior, improve customer experience, and reduce churn

Data Visualization and Reporting

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of initiatives.

Customer Insights

  • Analyze customer data to understand behavior, preferences, and trends.
  • Oversee qualitative and quantitative research to gather insights about consumer needs and preferences.

Market Analysis

  • Monitor and analyze market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.

Leadership and Collaboration

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate analytics into all aspects of the business
  • Provide strategic direction and mentorship to the analytics team

Qualifications

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing analytics, data science, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of defining and executing successful data strategies
  • Strong expertise in advanced analytics techniques, predictive modeling, and data visualization tools
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry is highly desirable
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
