Job Description:

The successful candidate will report to the Senior Vice President, Solutions Design, and will be primarily responsible for marketing and business development. The scope of work will include developing corporate messages for RFPs, sales presentations, social media, website, and collateral materials. This role will also be responsible for business development, including prospecting messaging and strategy using Zoom Info Engage and retention messaging using Salesforce. We are looking for a leader with experience in strategy development, excellent communication and persuasive writing skills, and the ability to be flexible and work in a dynamic, growing, and fast-paced organization. The ideal candidate is client-driven and solution-oriented, able to work collaboratively with subject matter experts and functions required to position the team and maximize the probability of winning bids.


Primary Responsibilities:

· Evolve key message development to help drive awareness of Inter-Con and stand out amongst the sea of industry players. Write persuasive and compelling messages/copy for RFPs, and develop sales presentations and collateral (cap stats, case studies, blogs, white papers).

· Lead business prospecting strategy and development. Guide Business Development Coordinator with client registrations and prospect nurture approach. Develop further and evolve nurture messaging and reporting.

· Develop and guide social media strategy and be responsible for monthly and quarterly performance reporting. Manage social media calendar development for the year, collaborate with internal graphics designer on creative direction, and post content.

· Oversee the Company’s websites for design, maintenance, and reporting.

· Manage and execute a limited number of large trade shows and events – annual Summit, GSX, and NMSDC. This involves setting event objectives and strategies, management of show/event logistics, booth set up, sponsorships, etc.

· Create and execute member email strategy and content for Peacemaker business

· Leverage central knowledge management resources, such as the competitive intelligence database and online resources to keep up with trends happening in the security industry and with top competitors.

· Develop PR key messages, draft press releases, and recommend PR outreach to the CEO.

· Oversee proposal/orals process to ensure well-written, compliant, and competitive volumes/slides incorporating win themes, discriminators, and program insights.

· Coordinate with Proposal Managers to ensure resources are effectively planned/deployed.

· Ensure timely selection and participation in the pursuit process of key personnel for program implementation and management.

· Perform business development services, including networking and research to increase business

· Research public domain material to develop leads, contacts, and capture plans

· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Company’s capabilities to successfully meet client requirements

· Develop strategic relationships and maintain industry knowledge through active involvement in ASIS, ISMA, NMSDC, USHCC, among others

· Leverage Inter-Con's CRM to track client engagement activities

· Participates in special projects as required


Qualifications:

· BA/BS preferred.

· Seven (7) or more years of successful marketing and business development experience.

· Ability to work in a complex, fast-moving environment with the highest levels of senior corporate management.

· Security industry background is preferred.

· Presents well-organized information, synthesizing complex ideas, and communicating them clearly to others.

· Skilled, persuasive copywriter

· Proven ability to sell in competitive markets with sharp negotiating, presentation, capture management, and closing skills.

· Thinks creatively and encourages others to take reasoned risks to achieve value-added results.

· Develops working relationships with clients and individuals in other business units by understanding their perspectives and issues.

· Able to work with direction while promoting an open flow of information so that all concerned are well informed.

· Organizes time effectively and determines the right resources needed to effectively perform job assignments.

· Demonstrates a proven ability to exceed client expectations.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and Zoom Info. Knowledge of social media posting/tracking tools is a plus.

· Must be willing and able to travel domestically

· Must be eligible for employment within the United States

· Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening

· Must have a valid driver's license
