Within GA Telesis, the Flight Solutions Group (FSG) is a single source solution to all supply chain, logistics and maintenance needs. FSG is seeking a high performing sales leader to lead a team to maximize airframe, engine, APU, landing gear, asset acquisition, consignment, lease and service-related opportunities, in the entire Americas region (North/Central South America). Reporting to the division President, the ideal candidate will use their passion, personal drive and visionary leadership skills to develop and execute on the strategic business plan of FSG and the company overall.
Responsibilities
Within GA Telesis, the Flight Solutions Group (FSG) is a single source solution to all supply chain, logistics and maintenance needs. FSG is seeking a high performing sales leader to lead a team to maximize airframe, engine, APU, landing gear, asset acquisition, consignment, lease and service-related opportunities, in the entire Americas region (North/Central South America). Reporting to the division President, the ideal candidate will use their passion, personal drive and visionary leadership skills to develop and execute on the strategic business plan of FSG and the company overall.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and vision in developing and executing strategic sales and services, as well as potential product line development to meet revenue and margins targets in the United States, Canada, Caribbean, and Latin America region
- Manage, attract, retain and develop a sales team capable of advancement and supporting Company goals and directives
- Build and leverage customer relationships at the highest levels, including the CEO/COO/VP of airlines, to identify new opportunities and create long-term partnerships
- Devise innovative and customer centric solutions while utilizing best practices across business units
- Ensure process and procedure adherence at all levels to support all Quality system compliance
- Achieve customer management targets as it relates key metrics for customer satisfaction, retention, and growth
- Achieve cross-selling targets with 4 additional business units including MRO Services, GATES Engine MRO, LIFT Asset Management and DIG Digital platforms, and build the GA Telesis brand as the leading global integrated aviation solutions provider
- Collaborate with the product line and services leaders to provide wholistic solutions to address customers’ needs. Provide definitive customer planning and maintenance schedules into all product line teams to ensure a continuous pipeline of product to be available for sales.
- Budget a quarterly / yearly AOP sales forecast while ensure maximum growth of the region in line with business unit expectations
- Increase yearly lease, repair management and flight hour service programs to maximize inventory utilization and overall revenues/margins associated with such programs
- Coordinate all sales and relevant sourcing activities for the region together with the COO to ensure the highest level of on-time delivery and customer satisfaction
- 15+ years’ experience in a Sales Leadership role in aviation
- Proven business thinker with exceptional strategic skills and capacity to understand the business from a market and P&L prospective
- Excellent commercial skills, including negotiating and closing complex international contracts
- Proven ability to develop peer relationships with C-Suite contacts in the region
- Significant existing rolodex of industry executives
- Able to travel 70%+
