Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Identify new market opportunities and create plans to capitalize on them.
- Oversee the execution of sales plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team.
- Establish and maintain a strong sales culture focused on performance, growth, and collaboration.
- Implement effective sales processes, metrics, and reporting systems.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention.
- Oversee the development of customer success strategies to drive growth and loyalty.
- Market Expansion:
- Expand the company’s market presence by identifying and targeting new customers and industries.
- Develop strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance market reach.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
- Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Utilize data and analytics to drive decision-making and optimize sales strategies.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies as needed.
- Provide regular reports and insights to the executive team on sales performance and growth opportunities.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, product, and customer success, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with the executive team and provide regular updates on sales performance and strategic initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Vice President of Sales or in a similar executive role within the SaaS or supply chain technology industry.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies that drive significant revenue growth.
- Strong leadership and management skills with a track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, sales enablement tools, and data analytics platforms.
- Deep understanding of the supply chain and logistics industry, including current trends and challenges.
- Ability to travel as needed.
