Vice President of Strategic Initiatives and Project Leadership

Description

In this pivotal leadership role, you will collaborate with senior management and executive leadership to shape, launch, and drive key strategic and operational projects. Your work will ensure that health and safety are top priorities and promote a culture of safety in every aspect of work.

Responsibilities

  • Lead with Safety: Ensure adherence to all safety practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Project Leadership: Plan, coordinate, and oversee the progress of strategic and operational projects from initiation to implementation. Manage project costs, resources, and scope while leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic Development: Collaborate with senior management to define and drive projects aimed at cost improvement, revenue enhancement, and process optimization. Analyze business performance, identify gaps, and seize opportunities to develop growth strategies.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct Proforma development, competitive analysis, and budgeting. Provide estimates and forecasts for resource costs, methods, and management within scheduled timelines.
  • Customer Engagement: Conduct regular reviews with customers to support account development and ensure their needs are met. Stay informed about field, sales, vendor, and plant activities.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster communication and coordination between sales and operations teams to ensure customer service and satisfaction are at the forefront.
  • Senior Management Support: Handle complex and sensitive assignments from senior leaders, including the SVP Sales/Line of Business and EVP, Business Line Management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for relationship building.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to lead constructive meetings.
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously and results-driven.
  • Skilled in research, analytical thinking, and creative problem-solving.
  • Commitment to high standards of quality and responsibility.
  • Proficient in using media and computer applications effectively.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
