We picked a colour that conveys our core values 𝘢𝘯𝘥 creates the right vibe and emotions for the way we work. 💗 PINK is associated with traits such as 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 and 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, and is known to bring us feelings of 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗺, 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲 and 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲. Guess what guys??????? I just rebranded!!! Now, I have always been thinking how people choose their brand color. I actually just thought that certain people pick their colors randomly, I didn't know that colors really add to what people think about you. I chose blue before because that is actually my best color Now, I am choosing dark orange, not just because it's cool. I chose dark orange because of what it symbolizes. ↳ Youth ↳ Emotion ↳ Optimism ↳ Enthusiasm Not only does it symbolize these, These things also resonate with my personality. It was Daniel that hinted me on this one feature, too. I didn't know that the colors you choose can portray you. Now that I do..... I would be going with dark orange. This will also prove what my services can do to your business😉 What do you guys think?? Is dark orange better than the blue I used before?? PS: Why did you choose the color you're using now. #thrivewithtomide #happysunday #30dayslinkedintourwithtomide #thelinkedinedgechallengewithinneh #20dayslinkedinchallengewithhaoma

What feelings bubble to the top when you think of your favorite brands? For example, when I think of Jason Wu (one of my fav designers)... I feel ... enchanted, excited, whimsical, delighted. He has a way of caputuring the strength and softness of a woman's feminity in his designs. It's pure magic. Those feelings or "emotions" that I've associated with the brand were formed not by the designs alone but also, by the persona/essence that permeates through everything the brand does - that's what makes me a fan/supporter. Emotions humanize through resonance. Resonance taps into our ability to relate. When we can relate, we can form a connection. If I can see myself in your product and/or service, it paves a road that allows me to see you as a (or the) solution. The cherry on top... Wu designed Michelle Obama's first inaugural gown. Not only that but, he designed several other gowns/dresses she wore throughout both terms. That sealed it for me. What bubbles up for you when you think of your fav brands? *Image created by DALL-E and I* #dalle #aidesign #branding

🌟 Throwback to Chanel's Heartwarming Mother's Day Campaign! 🌟 In 2015, Chanel broke the mold with a heartwarming initiative that not only celebrated mothers but also embraced authenticity and creativity like never before. They invited their own employees' children to design ads for Mother's Day, with the best designs to be turned into posters. The result? A series of ads that were refreshingly human, relatable, and a departure from the standard perfume ad clutter we often see around Mother's Day. By tapping into the innocent creativity of children, Chanel crafted one of their most distinctive and memorable campaigns to date. This campaign serves as a powerful reminder that authenticity and genuine emotion can cut through the noise and resonate deeply with audiences. It's a testament to the power of thinking differently and embracing creativity in marketing. Kudos to Chanel for reminding us that sometimes, the most impactful ideas come from the most unexpected places. #Chanel #CreativeMarketing #ThrowbackThursday #AuthenticityInAdvertising

Dress how you want to be addressed isn't just a catchphrase, It's the truth and some more! From personal experience, I've seen how dressing well can transform interactions. When I show up to an event looking sharp, it often starts with, "Hey, I love your outfit," and quickly leads to deeper conversations and connections. But it's not just about how others perceive you, it's about how you perceive yourself. What I also find to be true with how you dress is the confidence boost it brings. "Look good, feel good." is a motto that I strongly live by in this regard. and the outcome has always been nothing short of a great start to my day! So, here's some food for thought: Are you intentional about how you dress as you build your brand? #mondaythoughts #newweek #personalbranding #personalbrand #branding

Can you imagine what it’s like having to “defend” the work you do day in, day out? 😔 To have to explain how your work is deep and transformational, not as superficial as fvck, as many people might think. I get that what I do and how I do it isn’t for everyone, but I appreciate it when people take the time to ask questions and find out properly what goes on. Today, I feel weary with it all. The trouble is that there are so many stylists/image consultants/style coaches etc who are so keen to share their training and tell people what they “should” wear for their body shape or provide a list of “must have” items to stay on trend and they often give unsolicited advice. They rub people up the wrong way and then I get tarred with the same brush. I can’t tell you how many times people have put up defensive walls as soon as they get wind of (their perception) of what I do. There’s some kind of resistance to my business that I think comes from their perception that I’m judging what they’re wearing 🙈. My work is actually about identity. Colour and clothes are just a few of the tools in my kit and by honing the power of colour and clothes, you can influence your mood, your confidence, and how you are perceived. They help you express your identity, they say so much about you before you open your mouth. What I’m REALLY interested in is supporting you to unlock your power, ditch the self-doubt, step into the spotlight and feel 100% comfortable in your own skin. Clothes are tools. This👆 level of confidence isn’t just about looking good it’s about reflecting your inner self with your outer appearance. We work on raising your VIBE – visibility, individuality, branding, and essence. Rant over- as you were. Happy Friday.😆 #bemoreyou #womeninbusiness #personalbranding #connection

FROM CHARLI XCX TO KAMALA HARRIS: HOW BRAT SUMMER IS REDEFINING STYLE AND ATTITUDE. 💪🏼🚀 Brat Summer: A Microtrend Redefining Aesthetic and Attitude The concept of 'Brat Summer' has taken the internet by storm, embodying an alluring slime-green aesthetic and an attitude that challenges societal norms. This Brat-movement, popularized by #CharliXCX's album of the same name, celebrates a rebellious, carefree spirit that embraces imperfection and indulges in individuality. From embracing contradictions and unapologetic self-assuredness to embodying an attitude of playful petulance and ambition, 'Brat Summer' offers a fresh perspective on personal expression and style. 'Brat Summer' is not limited to fashion and lifestyle choices; it also influences beauty trends, including #eyebrowstyles. This microtrend encourages a mix of vulnerability and edginess, striking a balance between embracing imperfections and exuding confidence. With the unexpected embrace of #BratSummer by public figures like #KamalaHarris, questions arise about the credibility of its adoption. As the trend transcends the realm of online culture and integrates into mainstream discourse, it prompts conversations about authenticity and appropriation. Is Harris genuinely aligning with the spirit of 'Brat Summer' or simply riding the wave for strategic purposes? https://lnkd.in/eCaYDzp3 #BratSummer #BratMovement #BratStyle #BratAttitude #RebelSpirit #Individuality #PlayfulBrutality #AmbitiousMindset #ImperfectlyConfident #Microtrends #OnlineCulture #MainstreamDiscourse #Authenticity #Appropriation #BeautyTrends #FashionInfluence #MicrotrendPodcast

Networking Strategist | Building Thriving Entrepreneurial Communities 🤝 Passionate about cultivating meaningful connections and fostering positive networking environments for entrepreneurs.
I've always been the person who gets her nerves in a twist and fully freaks out before making big decisions. Whether it's launching an event or trying something new for the community, anxiety has often been my companion. This nervousness also extended to my wardrobe choices—black, black, and more black. But I'm finally learning to breathe, take it easy, and take the leap without the jitters. Thanks to one of our wonderful community members, I'm now adding color to my wardrobe. Reshma Dalal with her brand Taara & I Along the way, I've followed some self-taught networking rules that have helped me feel more confident and comfortable: - Avoid Large and Clunky Jewellery: I steer clear of anything that jingles and jangles, so I'm not the one sounding off like a bell when I walk. - While I love adding color, I avoid anything too bright and loud. We don't want to be the extra center of attention. - Comfort is Key: I choose outfits that are comfortable and don't require constant adjusting. Whether it's the neck or the length, I prefer to focus on the people I'm engaging with, not my attire. Here's to embracing change, taking bold steps, and adding a splash of color to my life ;) #Networking #PersonalGrowth #Community #EmbraceChange

"Drink Naked!" - a humorous take on Calvin Klein's recent sensational campaign - is a statement on body positivity and inclusive marketing. Some interesting points it raises: 1. It challenges traditional beauty standards 2. It calls for embracing comfort and confidence in one's own skin 3. It suggests that parodies, when done well, can be highly effective in grabbing attention and creating conversation. 4. It promotes authenticity and brand values: a brand that prioritizes individuality, naturalness, and enjoying life's simple pleasures. 5. It renews conversations about portrayal of bodies in advertising and the pressure to conform to certain standards. 6. It also breaks down traditional gender stereotypes and encourages a more fluid and individual expression of oneself. Some may argue that BRLO is capitalizing on Calvin Klein's existing campaign and audience without offering much originality. Which it does, to a massive extent! But then, it does so humorously contrasting ways, that it perfectly fits the category associations to beer. #advertising #beer #DrinkNaked

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠? Don’t do it if it’s not helping you FEEL GOOD about yourself. 🎯Being a corporate image consultant, this is my #1 advice for my tribe. Copying others or following trends or the status quo could sabotage your personality. We don’t want that! Remember, your individuality should be empowered through your conscious wardrobe choices. Do you agree with my holistic approach? ♻️Share it with your connections, they might need it #consciousliving #corporateimage #imageconsultant

From Invisible to Unstoppable: Overcome the Fear of Being Seen The greatest challenge my ideal client faces is overcoming the fear of stepping into the spotlight and fully embracing her potential. She's incredibly talented, brilliant at what she does, and knows deep down that she deserves to be seen and recognised as the expert she is. However, when it comes to putting herself out there, she’s held back by self-doubt and a fear of judgement. Her personal brand and online presence don’t truly reflect the high calibre of the service she provides. She feels frustrated because she knows her visual identity isn’t doing her justice, but the thought of revamping it feels overwhelming. She’s invested in clothes, but they’re not quite hitting the mark – they don’t align with the powerful, unique image she wants to project. Shopping has become more of a chore than a pleasure, with pieces that end up being ‘good enough’ rather than truly joyful additions to her wardrobe. This inconsistency in her appearance versus her professional capabilities is impacting her confidence, visibility, and even her pricing. What she truly needs is to break free from the fear of being judged and to realise that she is worth the investment in herself. She’s wary of stylists because she feels they won’t ‘get her’ or might push her towards trends that don’t align with her authentic self. What she craves is a supportive guide who understands her unique identity, someone who can help her reclaim her personal style in a way that feels true to who she is and where she’s heading. Perhaps you know her? #dressingforjoy #colourclothesconnection #professionalwomen #bemoreyou
