We’ll keep it real. As we reflect on March, it’s been a month of both wins and losses: 💥Received Advance Assurance for SEIS and are now ready to receive investment via ASA ahead of our round, which will open later in the year. 💥Submitted 2 funding bids and drafted 2 more, which we’re on track to submit next month.  💥Partnered with Royal Court Theatre on the West End transfer of critically acclaimed theatre show For Black Boys offering hundreds of £10 tix to community members.  💥Secured free offerings for the theatre shows Shifters and Sister Act to our community members 💥Grew our waitlist by 200, we’re now at over 1700+ creative talent  💥Attended the TNB XPO as an official exhibitor, an annual convention showcasing Black excellence within the UK screen industries 💥Nominated for exciting awards (more on this to come…) 🤫 But, we also: 🌪 Experienced product delays which has a knock on effect on our launch timeline  🌪Missed the deadline for a funding opportunity that we wanted to put ourselves forward for 🌪Had to reschedule a shoot due to unforeseen circumstances, which was costly 🌪It’s been a great month for fundraising, but this push has distracted us from the real work of business development So, in the spirit of transparency, we’ll be sharing our monthly W’s and L’s along the way. What have you reflected on in March? ⬇️ Stay Tuned for this series 🙌🏾 #Business #BlackCreatives #GetFunded #CreativeCommunity
