💡🌿The energy transition requires a multifaceted, combined, and concerted effort from all stakeholders. No single company or industry can make this happen. A carrot or a stick alone is not going to work, nor will an investors money. We need all enablers and elements to drive and scale the transition. Whilst over half our attendees believe it all the above, drilling down, over a quarter believe it’s the policy and regulations that will elevate and expand the transformation, and push projects to be justifiable. “How do we build an affordable, smart, resilient system that considers the future needs of the consumer and the cost to them?” This is the question that our CEO, Simon Mackenzie brings to the forefront of his conversation as part of KPMG New Zealand's latest report: 30 Voices on 2030: The future of energy in Aotearoa. For the report, KPMG New Zealand interviewed 30 energy leaders and innovators, including Simon.
