Great when businesses step up
Business Development Manager for Jarrold Group 👩🏼💻 I Scaling New Heights in Business I Non-Executive Director at CADAT
I've been looking forward to supporting Claire Abbs from Green Light Trust with running this event with them in April at Blickling Estate and today it just got even more exciting as James Fowler from Uptech Ltd has kindly offered to sponsor the event to allow Members and Non-Members to attend for free. #kind Thank you so much! These events are a great way for charities like GLT to showcase their hard work and a nice way for the business community to come together and network in the outdoors. You will probably need your wellies as let's face it, it probably isn't going to stop raining 😂 Hope to see you there - https://lnkd.in/e38y4CJg

Plan to attend a local event this weekend and experience the joy of making a positive impact. 🌟 Research Local Events: Look up local community events happening this weekend, such as charity runs, festivals, or neighborhood clean-ups. Choose an event that resonates with you and mark it on your calendar. Prepare any necessary items or contributions you might need for the event. 🌟 Invite Friends and Family: Enhance your experience by inviting friends or family members to join you. This not only strengthens your personal relationships but also multiplies the positive impact on the community. Discuss the event details, coordinate plans, and enjoy the collective effort of giving back together. #CommunityInvolvement #WorkLifeBalance #FiredUpFriday #MiltonHunt

At #Vulnerability #Matters, we know you are busy, so we pack each conversation into just 20 minutes. So why not walk the dog/cat, get to work, or (like me) look aimlessly out of the window, while listening to *Lyndsay Edgington* from the UK charity STAMMA? Because if you do, you'll learn about living with a stammer, and how you can practically better understand and meet the needs of the 1 in 100 customers who stammer or have difficulties with their speech. https://lnkd.in/g7kXMpke

Engagement and Well-being Manager, using Coaching and Mentoring to deliver outstanding patient care in the private healthcare setting
Another day, another day of recognition, but I like the idea behind this one, so here we are… Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving! Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the last decade, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. You can volunteer your time; donate money; share your skills; campaign for something; donate goods, food, or clothes; organise a community event such as a street or park clean-up or a coffee morning. The list really is endless. Whatever you give of yourself today (not because it’s giving Tuesday, because, let’s face it’s a made up notion, just because you want to or you can) or whoever you ‘do good’ make sure you’re in a good place first. You can’t pour from an empty cup or give money from an empty purse…but if you are in a position to do so, give generously. #givingtuesday
