Respect for life, Human rights and fundamental freedoms; the promotion of non-violence through education, dialogue and cooperation; commitment to peaceful settlement of conflicts; and adherence to freedom, justice, democracy, tolerance, solidarity, cooperation, pluralism, cultural diversity, dialogue and understanding at all levels of society and among nations.

2024 Theme: #Cultivating a #Culture of #Peace This year marks the 25th anniversary of the United Nations General Assembly’s adoption of the Declaration and Programme of Action on a Culture of Peace. In that declaration, the #UnitedNations most inclusive body recognized that peace “not only is the absence of conflict, but also requires a #positive, dynamic participatory process where dialogue is #encouraged and conflicts are solved in a spirit of mutual #understanding and #cooperation.”

Every year on 21 September, the United Nations invites the world to mark the International Day of Peace. This year’s focus is on “Cultivating a culture of peace”. In a world mired by conflict, inequalities and discrimination, we must strive ever harder to promote dialogue, empathy and human rights for all. Respect for our shared humanity and our equal rights and dignity are cornerstones of our democracy. As a pan-equality network, with members and supporters from across the whole of society, Equally Ours stands in solidarity with the Muslim and migrant communities and people of colour targeted in the ongoing racist and Islamophobic violence across the country.   We condemn this violence, and the harmful, divisive rhetoric and scapegoating that has emboldened extremists and incited these unacceptable attacks on our communities.   We call on the government to reset the agenda and effect a national, coordinated political response to ensure that all people and communities of colour in the UK are protected. That means, in addition to bringing those responsible for the violence to justice, addressing the racism at the heart of the violence, and creating a wholesale shift in political culture, language and policies.

BEING AT PEACE IS A NATURAL STATE OF HUMAN BEING: THE BELIEF THAT THERE IS A RIGHT TO PEACE belongs to the conscious mind or ego that creates and governs PHYSICAL REALITY. This belief is the BASIS OF DUALITY PERCEPTION OF REALITY. This is because it determines that SOMEONE FROM OUTSIDE MUST AGREE that people can be in peace which is THEIR NATURAL STATE OF BEING. Humanity's perception of reality is going in the direction of a UNITY PERCEPTION of reality which says that PHYSICAL REALITY IS JUST A REFLECTION OF SPIRITUAL REALITY made up of beliefs and emotions. Accordingly, EVERYONE INTUITIVELY KNOWS WHEN HE/SHE IS AT PEACE. This perception belongs to the SUBCONSCIOUS MIND OR SOUL which is eternal and infinite. This perception presumes that the SOUL PERCEIVES REALITY DIRECTLY because BELIEFS do not exist at the original level of the soul. #peace #naturalstateofbeing #humanright #equilibrium #jasnicaklaramatic
