The peace is possible when defects in the constitution of UN are rectified. After thorough analysis I realised that there are two basic and fundamental structural defects in the constitution of UN which are 1. Veto Power System for the permanent members of the security council of UN. Since there is a body of all stakeholders in the form of General Assembly wherein all member- countries of the UN are represented there is absolutely no need of Security Council to accept or reject the resolutions passed by General Assembly. As such Security Council should be dissolved forthwith. 2. All member countries of UN are not signatory to the Rome statute consequently some countries are not under the International Criminal Court (ICC) whereas all the member countries have to be under the jurisdiction of ICC so that peace prevails in the world. . Due to these defects America has made a mockery of the UN as it is reduced to a puppet in the hands of the America. Consequently America with some allies have invaded several Muslim countries like Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya and looted these countries then leaving these countries after the loot is complete. Presently America with the help of Israel (both countries are not under the jurisdiction of ICC) is demolishing, cold blooded mass murders, devastation, destruction , displacement, ethenic cleansing, murder especially of children and women and genocide and the whole world including the UN have to be mute spectators of all this and nobody has the powers to question them because of these defects in the constitution of UN. More than seven decades have passed by but the above-mentioned defects in the constitution of UN were not rectified. Non-rectification of these defects has created a very grave situation as instead of peace maintaining organisation UN became a weapon of blackmailing and means of invading and looting the rich countries by some countries which were having the veto power also besides these countries were not signatory to the Rome statute consequently these countries were not under the jurisdiction of ICC. As the result these countries became law per se and virtually became terrorist countries of the world because they were not answerable to any forum for whatever they do. They invaded and looted several countries so much so they created terrorist groups also. Now the climax of lawlessness has reached in Palestine where total devastation, destruction, cold blooded mass murders, genocide, ethenic cleansing, kidnapping and rape of innocent and unarmed civilians is being done and the whole world including UN have to be mute spectators because of the basic and fundamental defects in the constitution of UN have not been rectified. This is the highest time these defects are rectified by the General Assembly. Let General Assembly wake up after decades of slumber and rectify the defects as proposed above..

Respect for life, Human rights and fundamental freedoms; the promotion of non-violence through education, dialogue and cooperation; commitment to peaceful settlement of conflicts; and adherence to freedom, justice, democracy, tolerance, solidarity, cooperation, pluralism, cultural diversity, dialogue and understanding at all levels of society and among nations.

2024 Theme: #Cultivating a #Culture of #Peace This year marks the 25th anniversary of the United Nations General Assembly’s adoption of the Declaration and Programme of Action on a Culture of Peace. In that declaration, the #UnitedNations most inclusive body recognized that peace “not only is the absence of conflict, but also requires a #positive, dynamic participatory process where dialogue is #encouraged and conflicts are solved in a spirit of mutual #understanding and #cooperation.”

Today marks the 100-day countdown to #PeaceDay. The theme this year is “Cultivating a culture of peace”. In a world mired by conflict, inequalities and discrimination, we recognize that education is one of the principal means to build this culture of peace, and that we must strive ever harder to promote dialogue, empathy and human rights for all. While peace is undeniably crucial for the protection and fulfillment of human rights, it would be overly simplistic to label it as the sole progenitor of all other rights. Human rights encompass a diverse array of principles and freedoms, each with its own significance and interdependence. While peace certainly facilitates the realization of these rights, other factors such as justice, equality, and accountability also play indispensable roles in ensuring human dignity and well-being. Therefore, while acknowledging the vital role of peace, it is essential to recognize the multifaceted nature of human rights and the complex interactions that contribute to their advancement.

Every year on 21 September, the United Nations invites the world to mark the International Day of Peace. This year’s focus is on “Cultivating a culture of peace”. In a world mired by conflict, inequalities and discrimination, we must strive ever harder to promote dialogue, empathy and human rights for all. BEING AT PEACE IS A NATURAL STATE OF HUMAN BEING: THE BELIEF THAT THERE IS A RIGHT TO PEACE belongs to the conscious mind or ego that creates and governs PHYSICAL REALITY. This belief is the BASIS OF DUALITY PERCEPTION OF REALITY. This is because it determines that SOMEONE FROM OUTSIDE MUST AGREE that people can be in peace which is THEIR NATURAL STATE OF BEING. Humanity's perception of reality is going in the direction of a UNITY PERCEPTION of reality which says that PHYSICAL REALITY IS JUST A REFLECTION OF SPIRITUAL REALITY made up of beliefs and emotions. Accordingly, EVERYONE INTUITIVELY KNOWS WHEN HE/SHE IS AT PEACE. This perception belongs to the SUBCONSCIOUS MIND OR SOUL which is eternal and infinite. Respect for our shared humanity and our equal rights and dignity are cornerstones of our democracy. As a pan-equality network, with members and supporters from across the whole of society, Equally Ours stands in solidarity with the Muslim and migrant communities and people of colour targeted in the ongoing racist and Islamophobic violence across the country.   We condemn this violence, and the harmful, divisive rhetoric and scapegoating that has emboldened extremists and incited these unacceptable attacks on our communities.   We call on the government to reset the agenda and effect a national, coordinated political response to ensure that all people and communities of colour in the UK are protected. That means, in addition to bringing those responsible for the violence to justice, addressing the racism at the heart of the violence, and creating a wholesale shift in political culture, language and policies.
