🌿 Exploring Sustainability Myths in Hospitality! 🏨🌍 After researching sustainability efforts and understanding the hospitality sector, we identified common misconceptions across the industry. Misconception #1: "Only upscale hotels can afford sustainable solutions." 💰🛌 This widespread belief implies that only hotels with pricey room rates or large group budgets can afford to purchase and implement eco-friendly and sustainable products/solutions. However, our research found that room rates DO NOT determine a hotel's capacity for sustainability. In fact, the most sustainable hotels in this study had the lowest room rates.
