Empowering Transformation!! My Review of the Savage Woman Leadership Training The Savage Woman Leadership training was a transformative journey.  Pushing our collective group beyond the surface and requiring us to dig deep with profound introspection and growth.  I am walking out of this series with a revitalized determination to not only pursue greatness but also to push the boundaries of what is possible.   The exploration of what true greatness entails will be an ongoing journey.  Darren Reinke led insightful discussions and encouraged us to dig into the essence of what greatness means to us personally so we could craft a statement that serves as our North Star.  Igniting that fire within us to ensure we are always pushing toward our highest potential.   My journey through this series had several standout segments, each offering vital lessons.  Every module contributed to my evolution as a leader, from overcoming barriers to crafting a distinctive personal brand and honing the invaluable trait of grit.  These sessions not only provided practical tools for my personal growth but also a way to enhance the nurturing and development of future leaders within my organization.   The collective wisdom of these exceptionally intelligent women (Stephanie Kroplin Barrymore, Sandy P., Bee Animashaun, KELLY D. MARK, Lisa McGuire, Janelle Metzger) coupled with Darren's mentorship, has propelled me to new heights, both as an individual and as a leader.  Their support and thoughtful insights have been instrumental in my journey of self-discovery and empowerment.   The Savage Woman Leadership is not just another training program.  I feel it can be a catalyst for true transformation and recommend the series to anyone seeking to elevate themselves as leaders and agents of change. #thesavageleader, Darren Reinke, Group Sixty, #proofpoint, #transformationalleadership, #learninganddevelopment

Updated Number 1! Recently, I’ve been conducting Leadership Coaching. As one of these engagements was wrapping up, I formulated these 7 Commitments for Womxn Leaders. Some of these ideas are old (actually, they’re ancient); some of them are newer. While the ordering is different from many I’ve seen, they reflect my firm beliefs around how and why womxn leaders lead, and how womxn leaders must take care of themselves to continue to lead. These commitments remind us that our true power is twofold: modeling how we want leadership to look and work and lifting others up - and keeping them lifted. I could write about this forever; however, I’ll save those observations for a blog post. Note what I chose for number 2. Not an accident. 1. Believe in our own power and leadership.- lead from who we are and wherever we find ourselves. 2. Take care of ourselves and help other exhausted and underrepresented people do the same. 3. Speak truth to power. 4. Be an Ally. 5. Serve as role models by being as transparent and vulnerable as possible - sharing our struggles and using our voices and power to point the way forward. 6. Recognize the unrecognized. Praise them whenever possible. Lift them up and help them stay lifted. 7. Elevate people who aren’t quite ready and ensure they are supported to reach their potential.
