Renault invited the press to test the New Renault Master and pulled out all the stops, as the event took place under a spring sun in the magnificent setting of Château Lafitte in Yvrac in the Bordeaux region. 🍇 I had the privilege and pleasure of taking part in it thanks to the Renault Group Ambassador Program. 🤝 To realize the importance of the commercial vehicle in general and the Renault Master in particular, it is necessary to know that Renault is the leader on the French and European markets with 16.8% of the market share, and that 3 million Masters have been sold since 1980. all made in Batilly near Metz. 💪 It was also Renault that offered the market the first 100% electric commercial vehicle with the Kangoo Van in 2010 and the first large 100% electric van with the generation 3 Master in 2017. During this event, I was able, on the one hand, to exchange with the project team who introduced me to a field that was completely foreign to me until now, the world of commercial vehicles, and on the other hand to get behind the wheel and make up my own mind. So I got behind the wheel of a New Renault Master EV in the morning, and the ICE version in the afternoon, and what struck me the most during the test drive was the difference between what I thought of a commercial vehicle and the product that was presented to meesente. 👇 We can say that this Master's degree puts a damper on [my] preconceived ideas about utility vehicles: A modern and robust design, which has been optimised to increase its efficiency and reduce energy consumption! 🔋 Light driving helped by electric steering, and with camera rearview, it is quite easy to forget that you are driving a vehicle that is almost 6 meters long. A large 10-inch screen as standard compatible with Android Auto and Apple Carplay. The thrust of the electric motor of the model tested. ⚡ All this added to the V2G/V2L innovations, 20 driving aids available, the FOTA (allowing Renault Group vehicles to update themselves remotely), a first for a commercial vehicle at Renault. 👏 We can definitely say that the New Renault Master fits perfectly into the Renaulution! 😉 #Renault #Master #AmbassadeurRenaultGroup #véhiculeutilitaire

Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. fans waiting for the brand’s first all-electric supercar might have to hold out a bit longer. While the iconic marque has hybridized its lineup, it's not rushing into the EV game for its high-performance sports cars just yet. The company’s first fully electric model, likely a grand tourer similar to the Lanzador concept, is set to drop by the end of the decade. Lamborghini is playing the long game, confident it can perfect its electrification strategy while keeping its legacy alive. So, don’t expect an electric Huracán anytime soon, but something big is still coming. Do you think Lamborghini’s slow-and-steady strategy will be a winning move in the EV race? #robbreport #luxury #automotive #cars #ev

With the recent debut of the Lamborghini Temerario, the iconic Italian brand is advancing towards its goal of a fully hybrid lineup, bidding farewell to the Aventador and Huracan. However, Lamborghini's Chief Technical Officer, Rouven Mohr, told Motor1 that a fully electric supercar is not on the horizon. Mohr cites the current market conditions and the lack of "excitement factor" as key reasons for this decision. Despite the success of electric hypercars like the Rimac Nevera and Pininfarina Battista, Lamborghini remains focused on delivering a visceral driving experience that EVs currently lack. While other high-end brands like Ferrari and McLaren are also exploring hybrids, Lamborghini's electric ambitions are tempered by a commitment to maintaining their trademark unhinged excitement. Until a breakthrough in electric driving emotion is achieved, Lamborghini will continue to refine its hybrid technology, exemplified by the 10,000-rpm V8 powertrain in the new Temerario. #Lamborghini #HybridSupercars #Temerario #ElectricVehicles #Supercars #AutomotiveNews #LuxuryCars #EVHesitancy #HighPerformance #CarEnthusiasts #TechNews

How do you stand out among Lamborghini drivers? By driving the Bugatti. I would like to tell you a story: In 1963, the first prototype of a Lamborghini sports car, the Lamborghini 350 GTV, was presented. It had an incredible output of 270hp. Today, in 2024, Lamborghini's current model is the Revuelto with 1015 hp. Now imagine that both cars are driving onto a highway. First the 350 GTV, then the Revuelto. The 350 GTV initially has a lead because it sets off earlier, but the Revuelto quickly catches up. But the Revuelto decides to brake and doesn't overtake. ... Suddenly, a Bugatti Chiron with 1600 hp shoots past the two Lamborghinis and leaves them behind. He used the fast lane. What do we learn from this? There is no point in chasing people that were successful once. You are innovative, you have better technology. Don't use your today's opportunities to do, what people did 50 years ago. You have to become a Bugatti and decide to overtake. Remember: There is no shortcut to success. But there is a fast lane. #realestate #germany

Ferrari is embracing the EV revolution while staying committed to its iconic combustion engines. The company’s first electric vehicle (EV) is set to debut in late 2025 and hit the market in 2026. This isn't just a concept; prototypes have already been spotted testing, disguised in Maserati Levante bodywork, hinting at the EV's size. CEO Benedetto Vigna promises the EV will deliver the distinctive driving thrills Ferrari is known for, crucial for convincing supercar buyers to embrace electric technology. Ferrari has built a new factory to produce the EV and all necessary components, such as motors, transaxles, inverters, and batteries. This facility will also manufacture hybrids and combustion-only models on the same assembly line, ensuring future support and restoration for all Ferrari models, including vintage EVs. While Ferrari aims for vertical integration, it will source battery cells from an external supplier, avoiding the less power-dense LFP chemistry. The company claims its batteries will gain 10% power density annually. The EV won't be silent. Vigna confirmed that it will make authentic electric motor noises, without resorting to artificial sounds, similar to Porsche’s approach. Ferrari has been using electric motors in Formula 1 since 2009 and recently won the 24 Hours of Le Mans with its latest hybrid race car. Although pricing isn't finalized, reports suggest the EV could cost around $550,000 (€520,000, £450,000) with personalization options potentially pushing the price higher. Ferrari plans to lean heavily into customization with its new factory designed to accommodate this. While the company hasn't disclosed expected sales volumes, it projected in a 2022 shareholder meeting that EVs will account for 5% of sales in the first year, potentially growing to 40% by 2030. There's also speculation that Ferrari is already developing a second EV, but details remain unknown. #Ferrari #FerrariClub #FerrariGang #FerrariElectric #FerrariModels #FerrariPuroSangue #Ferraris #FerrariMotors #FerrariOwners #FerrariFans #FerrariLife #FerrariNation #CarDesign #CarRendering
