Celebrate the Stripes: Happy International Zebra Day! Admighty Foundation joins the global community in celebrating International Zebra Day! As a non-profit dedicated to Health, Education, and Environment, we find inspiration in the distinctive black and white stripes of these majestic creatures. Why Zebras? Zebras, with their unique patterns, symbolize harmony in diversity. Much like the diverse ecosystems we strive to protect, these creatures embody the importance of balance and coexistence. Our Striped Planet: Admighty Foundation recognizes the interconnectedness of all species and ecosystems. On this day, let's reflect on preserving the beauty of biodiversity and protecting the habitats that sustain life. Stripes Unite Us: Just as zebras find strength in their stripes, humanity finds strength in unity. Together, let's strive for a world where every living being can thrive. Join the Stripes of Change: Visit our website to discover how Admighty Foundation contributes to a healthier planet. Together, we can create a world where every stripe—human or zebra—adds to the vibrant tapestry of life. #InternationalZebraDay #AdmightyFoundation #Biodiversity #StripesOfChange WWF WWF Indonesia WWF-UK WWF India

Thinking of interesting and creative ways to share news on a regular basis is tricky. Not to mention time consuming. So today, we've decided this will do, and chosen to invest the time we would have spent crafting something else into talking about GreenViet instead. For over a decade, non-profit GreenViet have assisted local communities in conserving and developing important ecosystems across Vietnam, whilst raising awareness about environmental issues, educating students on the importance of diversity and promoting stewardship. And if that wasn't enough, they've helped protect several species and planted thousands of trees, too. We think that's pretty incredible. So, as a company who share the same values and ambition to bring about meaningful change, we could think of no better initiative towards which to direct our support. This is just a small token of our appreciation for the work GreenViet are putting in to looking after our planet, and we can't wait to bring offer more contributions to similar trusts as we grow. To everyone who participated in our campaign - thankyou! And also, watch this space... #greenviet #ecosystems #biodiversity #stewardship

#sustainabilitythursday News from our beekeeping project in the Mara! We're thrilled to announce the arrival of 10 kgs of pure honey, harvested sustainably from our thriving hives. This golden goodness, carefully packed into 20 500-gram jars, comes straight from the diligent work of Orkarkar, one of nine self-help groups championing honey production around the Ol Kinyei Conservancy. Thanks to the generous support of Gamewatchers Safaris, Porini Camps, and the WWF-Kenya, this initiative is buzzing with success. Back in 2021, the WWF's donation of 100 beehives, metallic stands, honey processors, chain-link fencing materials, bee catchers, and harvesting suits empowered youth and women, fostering conservation awareness while creating alternative livelihoods. Not only does this project provide economic opportunities for local communities, but it also plays a crucial role in conserving bee populations, thus enhancing the sustainability of the conservancy itself. But that's not all! Similar endeavors are underway in communities surrounding the Selenkay Conservancy. Thanks to our partners at the The Derek Moore Foundation, two women and youth groups are receiving vital support. Curious to see the impact firsthand? Check out this inspiring video showcasing the Selenkay project's progress: https://lnkd.in/dFkRvfPN If you're passionate about supporting conservation and community empowerment, join us on this journey! I've been saying for a while, Savimbo is not a company, it's a movement. And the movement is making itself clear as a movement for Rights-of-Nature. We were formed by 4 Indigenous medicine doctors, and 250 Colombian smallfarmers who had been conserving an incredibly rare ecosystem for free for 20 years. They asked Todreamalife, an international network of geniuses, to solve the inequity they experienced in conservation funding. Our single purpose has been to get them paid for their work. Since our formation, I have seen a diametric split, between the people who REALLY supported us, and the people who used association with our name for greenwashing. Our true supporters are all across the planet, in every gender, race, ethnicity, and social class. We call them Friends. The one thing they have in common is they actually LOVE Nature. They put skin in the game, small donations, time, connections, and solutions into the pot. They promoted everything we said, left us positive reviews, bought test purchases of biodiversity credits off our website, and subscribed to our smallfarmers. These were not big actions, but they were strikingly consistent. Like our smallfarmers, THEY GAVE WHAT THEY HAD. There is a core group of young people who have based our movement from the start. These are not the children who will inherit a damaged planet, and they are not the people who damaged it. They are the people with the strength, energy, ingenuity, and heart to actually fix it. And they have really showed up to build our solution, and learn everything they could about the right skills to really change the game. If you read this post, and you resonate with our mission. Then we need you to join this movement. Now. We need you to subscribe to our email (https://lnkd.in/enVQWDfT), and follow us on social channels so we can coordinate. The time for Rights of Nature is NOW. And we are going to need your help - we need you to be Friends. ##climatechange #climateclock #actintime #climatecrisis #sustainability #climateactivism #activism #climatechange #ecoanxiety #lateristoolate #climatejustice #fairtrade #esg #environment #sustainability #sdg #rightsofnature #savimbo

Happy Arbor Day! 🌳🌲 Arbor Day is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the beauty and importance of trees while promoting environmental stewardship. Here are some ways you can celebrate: Plant a Tree: The most traditional way to celebrate Arbor Day is by planting a tree! Whether in your backyard, a local park, or a community garden, planting native trees helps beautify the environment, improve air quality, and provide habitat for wildlife. Attend a Tree Planting Event: Many communities host tree planting events on/near Arbor Day. Joining one of these events allows you to contribute to local reforestation efforts while connecting with fellow tree enthusiasts. Volunteer for Environmental Causes: Offer your time to help care for the environment in your community. This could involve watering young trees, helping with cleanups, or participating in sustainability events. Support Tree Planting Organizations: Donate to or volunteer with organizations dedicated to tree planting and conservation. Many nonprofits and government agencies work tirelessly to protect and restore nature worldwide. However you choose to celebrate Arbor Day, the important thing is to recognize and honor the vital role that trees play in our lives and our planet's health. Every tree planted and cared for is a step towards a greener, more sustainable future. #ArborDay #EarthMonth #KeepNebraskaBeautiful

Taking action for a sustainable future. The mission of L'Invitée to encourage great leadership with great people also includes taking responsibility to protect our planet as best as possible for future generations. We believe in not only raising awareness about environmental issues but also actively contributing to positive change. That is why we have become a proud tree partner of the Trees for All foundation: https://lnkd.in/gv8Ekhb8. Without trees there is no life. That is why the Trees for All foundation plants new forests worldwide, restores degraded forests and makes people aware of the importance of trees. In partnership with Trees for All, we’ve donated and planted 200 trees worldwide in two projects in the Netherlands and Mexico. We have entered this collaboration for the next three years and it fits perfectly with our mission in encouraging great leadership. Let’s celebrate the beauty of our planet and our commitment to protecting it. #meaningfulimpact

🐻❄🌍 International Polar Bear Day is an annual event celebrated every February 27th. 🌍❄🐻 🎯 The purpose of this day is to raise awareness for the issues that polar bears are facing. 🧠💡🌍 🆘️📣 We need to take action to help keep these animals from going extinct! 👥🌍 Did you know that this day was founded to coincide with the period when polar bear mothers and cubs were comfortable in their burrows? 🤔 🎯 This initiative focuses on the need to protect polar bear families in the Arctic. 😍🐻❄🐾 👉 This year, the goal is to raise funds to help protect mothers and cubs, giving them the best possible chance of survival while also supporting their other conservation efforts across the Arctic. 🤝👥🤲💰🐻❄💚 What does the science say about the intersection between polar bears and climate change? 🔬📊🐻❄🌡🌍 👉 Scientists state that polar bears are experiencing evident adverse effects from climate change, making the tasks of hunting, mating, and breeding more challenging for them. 😰🌡📉 👉 Polar bears rely on sea ice for vital activities of their lives, including hunting, mating, and resting. Sea ice is crucial for their survival. 🐻🌊❄ 👉 Temperatures in the Arctic are rising almost four times faster than the global average, and since 1979, the extent of Artic sea ice has decreased every month of the year. 😢🌡❄🌍 📖📊 Check the following article that shows how Artic sea ice extent has diminished in recent decades: https://shorturl.at/jlmvX How can you also contribute on that day? 😍🙌👏🌿🐻❄ 👉 You can take part in this special day by donating to initiatives supporting polar bears (e.g. a donation that helps protect mothers and cubs). 🤲💰 With every sustainable measure you take, no matter how small, you will surely make a big difference! 🙌👏👥🌿🌍💚 And if everyone joins in, imagine the great impact. 🤝👥🌐🌟 📆📣🌿 We are running our campaign on promoting important dates in terms of sustainability as part of our Sustainable Marketing & Sustainability Promotion campaign because we want to mobilize our community, followers, and other people to take action and be part of the change! Together, we can make a change! 🌎🤝💚 ℹ🔗 Sources: https://shorturl.at/CKN12 https://shorturl.at/gBHS7 https://shorturl.at/jlmvX #internationalpolarbearday #protectmomsandcubs #talkaboutit #oikos #graz #oikosgraz #oikosworld #wesupportpolarbears #raisingawareness #climatechange #climatechangesolutions #climateaction #positiveimpact #empoweringchange #inspringothers #alltogether #sustainablefuture #beinformed #getinvolved #makeadifference #ChangersNotManagers

Transforming Our Future with ESG 🌱 Today at Spencer Ogden, as we acknowledge Global Turtle Day 🐢, we're reminded of the delicate balance within our ecosystems and how our actions reverberate through the environment. #GlobalTurtleDay isn't just about these ancient mariners; it's a call to step up our ESG objectives. Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) aren't just buzzwords—they're the pillars guiding us towards a sustainable future. As we embark on this journey, we've committed to three core objectives: 1. Minimise our Carbon Footprint 🌍 - We're reducing energy usage and waste in every office, reminding us that small changes aggregate into significant impacts. 2. Empower Communities 🤝 - Through local partnerships and volunteering, we're not just fostering change; we're part of it. 3. Uphold Transparency ✨ - We believe in the power of openness, providing clear ESG metrics and progress reports to all stakeholders. This Global Turtle Day, let's channel the steadfast perseverance of turtles as we strive to create a greener, more equitable world. Every step we take echoes through our global community and across our shared home. I personally support the Sayulita Turtle Camp in Mexico. A local charity supporting the preservation of Olive Ridley Turtles. I have included their donation link if you want to join me in supporting them. What are your ideas for driving ESG initiatives forward? Drop a comment below! 🌟 #ESG #Sustainability #FutureIsNow

Our new economic model, the Reintegration Economy is "profit serving purpose". Our "purpose" is the protection of biodiversity and the renaturalisation of habitats, for the benefit of the whole planet. This is made possible by the profit that Almo Nature makes from the sale of products for dogs and cats which is entirely donated to the projects of Fondazione Capellino, with a circular economy. The iconic bowl which is celebrated in our new commercial represents just that: it is the ark that renews the pact between humans and nature. You can join too, no one can afford to sit still and watch anymore.
