After working on over 30 different influencer businesses it shocked us to learn that most social media creators film videos the same exact way. To limit mistakes, and improve watch time elite content creators use a combination of teleprompters, scripts, and slides while producing their content. This tactic allows for better-made content but drastically increases the time it takes to create a video. Luckily we found a better solution, the AI Eye contact tool. 2023 was our third year running Fabel Media. What started as a couple of friends passionate about telling stories, has slowly and steadily evolved into a highly skilled team of designers, animators and problem solvers. Here are 5 things we did this year that helped us level up our creative studio: 1. Prioritized showing up online. As creatives, sometimes all we want to do is put our heads down and work. This year, we learnt to embrace the cringe and used social media as a platform for our voice - whether it was connecting with creators, sharing our insights into the industry or our projects and festival wins. 2. Adopted a more entrepreneurial mindset and focused on activities beyond operations. We invested time and money to fill the gaps in our knowledge of business functions - and focused on building systems and processes to scale our efforts sustainably. 3. Strategically expanded our team. By bringing on board individuals who not only possess exceptional skills but also communicate well, are creatively aligned with the kind of projects we do and share common long-term goals. 4. Invested time and effort in solving our clients’ deepest problems. We’ve been able to differentiate ourselves and build long-term relationships with our clients, by being involved and almost indispensable partners who understand the ins and outs of their business - with whom they can brainstorm and collaboratively find creative solutions. 5. Established clearer work-life boundaries with our clients and our team. Transparently communicating each stage of our creative process and being upfront about our expectations as partners, has allowed us to prioritize our well-being without compromising on the quality of our work.
