With support from Airbus experts, we want teams to tackle global challenges to create a safer, cleaner and better-connected world. 👩🎓 The Challenge: #FlyYourIdeas is an exciting challenge and competition for #UniversityStudents across #UK, #France, #Germany, #Spain and #TheNetherlands. In teams of 3, students will tackle genuine key aerospace challenges by proposing their unique solutions using their latest academic knowledge.    Choose your challenge: 💼 #BusinessModels- What else could be done with aircraft other than transportation? How can this revolutionise the passenger experience? ⚙ #DesignEngineering- How can artificial intelligence support aircraft design and/or manufacturing? ♻ #SustainableMaterials- How can the aerospace industry leverage innovative and eco friendly materials to enhance aircraft performance while minimising environmental impact? 🛩 Final: The top 2 teams will then receive an exclusive invite to Farnborough International Airshow. The final, held at #FarnboroughAirshow2024, where the top two teams will get the chance to further progress their ideas, and battle it out in front of our judges. Please kindly consider this call for papers....  3AF, the French Aerospace Society, presents Towards Sustainable Aviation, an International Summit, held on 28 to 30 January 2025, in Toulouse - France. This conference will address both aircraft design and operations perspectives to prepare and shape a more efficient Global Air Transport System with the aim to reach carbon neutrality by 2050 for the aviation ecosystem. TSAS 2025 will collect progress made since the previous conference in 2022 on the previous technologies, but also focus on SAF, more electrical aircraft, more autonomous aircraft and some emerging technologies or approaches such as the Artificial Intelligence and the digital transformation of the industry, including the intensive use of big data. The Gulf Aviation Academy and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, the world' largest and most comprehensive university specializing in aviation and aerospace, announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to explore a strategic partnership to enhance aviation training and education opportunities in the region and beyond. Under the MOU, GAA and Gulf Air will explore various avenues of collaboration with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, including joint development of aviation training programs, faculty and student exchange programs, collaborative research and development initiatives, and utilization of Embry-Riddle's global network. This strategic partnership between GAA and Embry-Riddle marks a significant step towards creating a robust and future-ready aviation workforce.
