The European Commission has officially released the European Cycling Declaration! Cycling leaders – the European Cyclists' Federation, Cycling Industries Europe, and the Confederation of the European Bicycle Industry - CONEBI – enthusiastically and proudly welcome this declaration as a positive milestone in the world of cycling.   The declaration was announced by Adina Valean, the European Commissioner for Transport, and is the most comprehensive effort to date by the European Commission, elevating existing and future cycling policies as a strategic priority.   ECF CEO, Jill Warren, expressed that the declaration optimistically reflects "many of ECF’s longstanding advocacy and policy demands aimed at increasing and improving cycling in Europe...". Furthermore, "This is an excellent framework for enabling many more Europeans to cycle – and to cycle more safely."   The European Cycling Declaration is expected to be finalised by the end of 2023 and represents an inter-institutional commitment.   Read the full press release below: https://lnkd.in/euQn-dji
