If you’re thinking about working with an agency, there are a few things you can do which will make the process easier for everyone involved. Before you commit to working with an external partner, make sure you: 💡Understand all your marketing requirements and can effectively communicate them. 💡Have a clear budget. 💡Discuss any concerns you or stakeholders might have about working with an agency (and be prepared to let other colleagues engage with the agency to help alleviate their concerns). 💡Get all internal stakeholders onboard (that includes those who might not be working with the agency but are involved in the company sign-off and decision-making process). 💡Recognise the value of working with an agency. And please, whatever you do, don’t ghost the agency! Even if you don’t end up working together, a lot of work will have gone into discussing your requirements and putting together pitches and personalised proposals.
