Exciting progress for Bryant Montessori Elementary School! AHBL is providing civil engineering, land use planning, and survey services for the replacement of the previous 1960s-era school building. This comprehensive project included the demolition of existing structures, utility and stormwater improvements, and hardscape and street enhancements. In collaboration with Tacoma Public Schools, TCF Architecture, PLLC, and Skanska, the new Bryant Montessori K-8 will also have new playgrounds and playfields. #AHBL #AHBLLife #CivilEngineering #LandUsePlanning #Survey #Education #Tacoma

Great news! During summer break, Bryant staff will pack up their temporary spaces in preparation for the move to the new Bryant Montessori School in August. The new Bryant is expected to open to students on the first day of school this fall. The new Bryant Montessori School is almost complete and starting to look like a new school. Landscaping, earthwork and a new courtyard make it easy to picture Bryant students in their new school this fall. New playground equipment installation is in full swing while work crews continue street and sidewalk improvements through mid-August on the surrounding area of the school. Construction work remains on track for the school’s anticipated opening in fall 2024. The new Bryant will include new playgrounds and playfields, parking, and improvements such as new sidewalk and curbs. The school will continue to serve as a Montessori school serving students K-8.
