Use at least 1.5 line height for body text Line height, the vertical space between two lines of text, plays a crucial role in readability and accessibility. For optimal results, especially in long body text, aim for a line-height between 1.5 and 2 times the font size. This spacing not only prevents re-reading but also enhances overall comfort. In a visual example, increasing the line height from 1 (100%) to 1.6 (160%) significantly improves readability, striking a balance for an accessible and visually appealing layout.

We know how time-consuming it can be to manually configure designs for every text block, so here's a quick (but often overlooked) tip for you— Try setting default font styling on top-level containers, so their children elements will automatically adopt the same font. For example, if you're setting a container’s font to Arial, any text block added within this container will automatically use Arial, too. 'Saves you so much time and hassle, no? Some may even say “boring.” But they are familiar to readers (which is good for comprehension) and we can make them shine by designing them in a visually appealing and easily understandable way. Essential bar chart design tips: 1. Arrange bars logically (e.g. low to high, high to low, chronological time periods, etc.). 2. Label axes clearly for context. 3.
