🚀 Unleash Your Social Impact Superpower 🌟 Is your organisation ready to take its Social Impact potential to the next level? 💼 While non-superpowers are still amazing, very necessary 🤓, and great initiatives to contribute to reconciliation, they aren’t directly in their line of sight nor involve their core product/service offering. Whereas the superpower examples are win-win ✅initiatives that use the company’s core skills, resources and business focus to contribute back. Superpowers are far more sustainable and far more beneficial to both parties – and thus have a much higher chance of creating high-impact and long-lasting change. Finding the right balance ⚖️ of both, is where you can find your sweet spot 🌟 Here's a quick read from the weavr team outlining key strategies on how to leverage your unique strengths to drive meaningful social impact. Recently I made an update about my sustainability journey but I wanted to give some insight on other aspects in my life that I’m working towards. I figured this would be a great idea since I don’t update on here very often. As I continue my journey of personal and professional development, I’ve been inspired to take active steps in shaping my future. What I’m focusing on now is building my success by enhancing my skills, social abilities, career, and academic knowledge —working to better myself independently before I officially enroll in college in the near future. Recently, I’ve planned to reach out to some of my favorite influencers, role models, and professionals in positions I aspire to be in or am curious about in hopes to gain some guidance. I’m eager to hear about their experiences, what they studied in college, and any key lessons or tips they learned along the way. Additionally, I’m curious to know what they wish they could have avoided, because I’m a strong believer in learning from the mistakes of others to avoid having those experiences yourself. As I continue to build my own path, I hope to learn what I should be investing my time into and figuring out creative ways to meet my overall goals. This outreach was inspired partially by an Instagram post about how successful people become and stay successful and a similar effort I made last year around this time, reaching out to content creators to learn more about their craft of creating engaging content. These conversations will not only help me jump-start my academic studies but will also guide me as I decide what to major and minor in and what extracurricular activities I want to pursue. What overall career paths I feel are most suitable for me so I don’t feel as though I’m miserable with my life choices. My goal is to build a strong foundation before stepping onto campus now that I’m significantly more secure with surviving on my own. I’m turning curiosity into actionable growth and nothing into something impactful, sustainable and fulfilling. I’m excited to grow my presence here on LinkedIn, engage with new communities and companies as I do more networking, and remain consistent in my journey of self-discipline and development. Most importantly, this experience is pushing me outside my comfort zone and helping me embrace the mindset of being the entrepreneur of my own success. Plus since this is my life, I look forward to the adventures ahead and the stories I’ll one day tell! Also should I start giving my post titles? 😅 I’ve always been a bit of a writer, I’ve noticed my post tend to be longer than most others. Maybe having a heading of some sort will allow some insight for viewers and help keep things organized around here. #Networking #college #academics #life #careerchoice #entrepreneur #selfstudy
