Air Liquide teams are proud to have participated in the maiden flight of #Ariane6 ! 🚀 Since the start of the Ariane program in 1973, we have contributed to every successive evolution of the #launcher, from Ariane 1 to Ariane 6. The 50-year collaboration has already seen 262 Ariane flights to date. We supply #cryogenic lines and equipment, maintenance and operation of all launch pad cryogenic equipment, as well as the fluids required for all launcher preparation sequences (nitrogen and helium) and for #propulsion, notably hydrogen and oxygen. Thank you to our teams and partners for this #technological and human adventure. Safety is a top priority for Air Liquide, and while we strive to improve safety in all our operations, we also look for new technologies in wider ecosystems. That's why we are working with innovative #startups! For instance, through ALIAD Venture Capital by Air Liquide, we collaborate with the startup Distran, focused on boosting safety standards in #hydrogen mobility. This partnership has been particularly fruitful: ✅ DISTRAN develops cutting-edge ultrasonic imaging cameras, allowing more effective monitoring and detection of potential gas leaks. In 2023, ALIAD took a minority participation in this start-up to support the company’s growth. ✅ In 2023, the start-up developed a new version of its "SonicView Pro" technology, specifically adapted to Air Liquide's needs, in close collaboration with experts from the Group. ✅ After having successfully demonstrated their performance and reliability, these #cameras can now be used in heavy-duty hydrogen refueling stations and filling centers designed by Air Liquide advanced Technologies. By supporting innovative start-ups, we create a win-win relationship with technological, strategic and financial opportunities for both start-ups and Air Liquide! 🎯

Massiel was born in a small town in the Dominican Republic. She began her career in the advertisement industry and started her journey at Air Liquide three years ago as a Commercial Sales Manager. Air Liquide is proud to support the #athlete Yohan Peter 🤝 A nurse coordinator, Yohan discovered wheelchair #fencing rather late in life, at the age of 27 during an initiation course at a rehabilitation center! Since then, he's been racking up top-level #performances: Silver medal in the individual event at the European Championships in 2022, and Bronze medal at the World Championships in team Épée in 2023.
