Meditation teacher, Monk, Social Entrepreneur | On a mission to end loneliness | Helping organizations thrive by fostering a culture of belonging and joy| Founder, Antaha LLC
Reflecting on my recent conversation with Tracy Brower, PhD Brower, I am reminded of the profound importance of 𝗢𝗻𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀. In many Eastern cultures, there is a profound belief in the concept of oneness—the idea that we are all interconnected, living not in separate countries but in one big country called the world. This perspective emphasizes that our actions, support, and love extend beyond borders and that we all have a role in nurturing the collective well-being of our global community. As the founder of Antaha, I have seen firsthand the transformative power of community and togetherness. When we come together to support each other, we create a foundation of love, trust, and security. These are the pillars that enable children to grow into confident, compassionate, and resilient adults. Supporting a child doesn’t require grand gestures. Often, it’s the small, consistent acts of kindness, the words of encouragement, and simply being present that make the most significant difference. It’s about creating an environment where children feel valued and understood, where their dreams are nurtured, and where they are empowered to reach their full potential. Imagine a world where every child has access to a network of supportive adults—teachers, parents, neighbors, and mentors—who are committed to their well-being. A world where children can thrive because they know they are not alone. This vision of collective care is not just a dream; it is a possibility within our reach if we all choose to embrace the spirit of oneness. Let’s extend our hands and hearts to those around us, building a global community that cherishes togetherness and mutual support. In doing so, we not only enrich the lives of children but also create a legacy of compassion and unity for future generations. #Community #Togetherness #ChildSupport #GlobalUnity #Wellbeing #Oneness #east #unity

We all need each other to belong As we count down to Neighbour Day 2024 (last Sunday in March) it's the perfect time to encourage community action and belonging! This year my tell us your story won the NSW prize. It's the little things that count - a warm smile, a helping hand - these small gestures help to weave belonging into our neighbourhoods. Or why not spice things up with a neighbourhood picnic or fire up the barbie for a sausage sizzle right on your street? Or perhaps a ‘walk and talk’ with your neighbours could be the perfect way to connect and share stories. Creating and sharing a sense of belonging isn't just about what we do, it's about how we make each other feel. Simply saying hello can brighten someone's day. In this edition, we share the very neighbourly and very fun(!) national launch of Neighbour Day up at Parliament House; announce the Tell Us Your Story 2024 competition winners; and acknowledge two new Very Neighbourly Organisations. #NeighboursEveryDay #CreateBelonging #ShareBelonging
