Armenia, a country with a rich cultural heritage and a growing economy, offers unique advantages for business, one of which is its highly skilled and relatively inexpensive labor force. With more than 55% of the working age population, Armenia demonstrates strong human potential for various sectors of the economy, from technology to traditional manufacturing. ⚡️One of the key features of the country is the high level of education of the population, with a literacy rate of up to 99%. This means that the majority of the labor force possesses not only basic reading and writing skills, but also a high degree of education, including specialized secondary and higher education. This high level of education creates favorable conditions for the development of innovative industries and attracting foreign investment. Low labor remuneration compared to other countries makes Armenia attractive for businesses looking for efficient costs of production and services. This is especially relevant for startups and IT companies, which can find qualified programming, engineering and design specialists in Armenia for a reasonable price. 🚀 In addition, the Armenian government is taking steps to improve the business environment and stimulate economic growth, including through reforms in the educational system aimed at improving the quality of education and matching the skills of graduates with the requirements of the modern labor market. Thus, Armenia offers significant advantages for companies and investors seeking a highly skilled yet affordable workforce in a stable and growing economic environment.

Congratulations on the 33rd anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan! Thanks to the Independence and especially in recent years, many opportunities opened up for our youth to realize their potential, for instance: 1. Forced labor in agriculture is no longer allowed, so millions of kids are in schools instead of cotton fields, thousands of teachers and doctors can focus on their real jobs; 2. Everyday items that were once in systemic deficit are now easily available in stores and online; 3. We have gone from being a closed nation to one that welcomes the world, making it easier to talk to foreigners and travel abroad; 4. Entrepreneurs are free and encouraged to grow their businesses and create new jobs; 5. More foreign universities have opened here, and it’s easier for our youth to study at top universities abroad; 6. Tourism has grown, bringing more jobs and giving our people more chances to travel, both in Uzbekistan and abroad; 7. The number of companies with foreign investments is increasing; 8. We have started major projects to restore green life at Aral Sea area and provide clean drinking water to millions of people, improving their lives in rural areas. With these opportunities, our youth, who are learning modern skills and languages, have more chances to achieve their dreams. Let’s work together to strengthen our independence and raise our country’s reputation! PS. AI is used for old photos #Uzbekistan #Independence #Prosperity #Transformation #AI

#FINEXPhils EJ Qua Hiansen writes for Manila Bulletin, Investing in Knowledge Benjamin Franklin's words, “An investment in knowledge pays the best interest,” resonate deeply. This belief was instilled in my family, with my parents valuing education as the key to shaping our lives. My siblings, now teachers, continue this legacy, inspiring others with their knowledge and showing the transformative power of education that can shape lives and inspire others. The Philippines is on the brink of a demographic dividend, boasting a large, young working population that holds the potential to drive economic growth. The National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) projected that by 2045, the demographic dividend would amount to P20.4 trillion. In 2023, NEDA Secretary Arsenio Balisacan cited the need for education and human capital investments to address the learning poverty accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic. He further argued that improving the support ratio would improve the Philippine GDP by 0.4 percent to 0.7 percent per year until 2040, while improvements in labor productivity would add 0.1 percent to 0.7 percent per year over the same period. This promising scenario can be fully realized if we invest in our youth, empowering them with quality education. Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/gkVaciN4 (Photo from Pinterest)

Dear youth of Cameroon, Today, on this auspicious occasion of Youth Day, I stand before you as a voice filled with hope and inspiration. It is a day that celebrates the vibrancy, aspirations, and potential of our beloved nation's youth. Let us join hands today, not only to commemorate our past struggles and achievements but also to envision a future where import substitution and economic patriotism drive the progress of Cameroon. Import substitution, my dear friends, is the idea of producing goods and services domestically to replace reliance on imported products. This economic strategy aims to bolster our national economy, create job opportunities, and foster sustainable growth. As youths, we are the driving force that can breathe life into this concept and help shape a self-sufficient Cameroon. For far too long, we have witnessed an excessive dependence on foreign goods in our daily lives. From basic necessities to luxury goods, we often turn to foreign markets, neglecting the wealth of resources that lie within our own borders. This pattern not only drains our economy but also hampers our ability to innovate, create, and become self-sustainable. However, today, on Youth Day, we have the chance to shift this paradigm. It is time for us to embrace economic patriotism – a deep love and commitment to our nation's economic well-being. Economic patriotism means supporting local industries, encouraging entrepreneurship, and investing in homegrown talents. It means recognizing our unique potential and utilizing it to the fullest, for the benefit of our people and the advancement of our nation. The path we choose today will determine the destiny of Cameroon tomorrow. We hold in our hands the power to build a Cameroon that thrives on its own abilities, harnesses its vast resources, and provides opportunities for every citizen. But to achieve this dream, it will require our collective effort, resilience, and a willingness to challenge the status quo. Dear youth, Let us begin by supporting and promoting local industries. By consuming products made in Cameroon, we not only contribute to the growth of our economy but also create jobs for our fellow countrymen. We must encourage entrepreneurship and innovation among our peers, for it is through small businesses and startups that true economic transformation can take place. Furthermore, we should invest in our education and acquire the necessary skills to fill gaps in our economy. By becoming experts in various fields, we can reduce our reliance on imported expertise. We must also rally behind initiatives that focus on research and development, encouraging the creation of new technologies and innovative solutions.

How Ghana Outpaced Nigeria in 2024: 7 Key Areas Ghana and Nigeria, two leading African nations, share a competitive relationship spanning various sectors. In 2024, Ghana has notably outpaced Nigeria in seven key areas. Here’s an overview supported by the latest data and analysis. 1. Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Ghana attracted $4.5 billion in FDI in 2023, surpassing Nigeria's $3 billion. Ghana's political stability, favorable business environment, and anti-corruption measures have bolstered investor confidence, unlike Nigeria's persistent issues with bureaucratic red tape and security concerns. 2. Automotive Industry Ghana’s automotive sector has seen significant growth with Hyundai and Kia establishing assembly plants in Accra. This influx has created jobs and boosted the local economy. In contrast, Nigeria's automotive industry struggles due to policy inconsistencies and inadequate infrastructure. 3. Technology and Innovation Accra has become a bustling tech hub with Google opening its first African AI lab there. Ghana's stable environment and proactive policies have attracted tech giants. Meanwhile, Nigeria’s tech sector faces challenges like regulatory uncertainties, despite having Africa's largest tech market. 4. Ease of Doing Business Ghana improved its ranking to 104 in the World Bank’s 2024 report, ahead of Nigeria at 131. Reforms in Ghana, such as digitizing government services and reducing business registration time, have made it easier to operate there. 5. Healthcare and COVID-19 Response Ghana vaccinated 75% of its population against COVID-19 by 2023, compared to Nigeria’s 50%. Ghana’s efficient logistics and public awareness campaigns have been key to its success, strengthening its healthcare sector for future challenges. 6. Political Influence and Global Relations In 2023, Ghana chaired the African Union and hosted high-profile visits, enhancing its global influence. Ghana’s proactive diplomacy contrasts with Nigeria's internal conflicts affecting its international standing. 7. Education and Talent Development Ghana’s investments in education, particularly the Free Senior High School policy, have improved access and quality. Successes in international STEM competitions highlight Ghana's commitment to nurturing talent. Conclusion Ghana's advancements in investment, technology, and education underscore its growing prominence in Africa. Nigeria remains a key player with vast resources but faces significant challenges. Both nations' trajectories will shape West Africa's future, offering lessons in success and areas for improvement. #AfricanDevelopment #Investment #TechInnovation #Education #Healthcare #Diplomacy #EconomicGrowth

But there’s more work to be done! 💪 Challenges ahead: ⚠️ Romania has the highest poverty rate in the EU, and its growth model needs a refresh to tackle slowing productivity and boost competitiveness. The new World Bank Group Country Partnership Framework for Romania is focused on reducing poverty and boosting prosperity by investing in human capital, creating quality jobs, and accelerating the green transition. 🌱💼 Here are four key areas that can unlock Romania’s full potential: ⚡𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲: Romania will need an estimated $356 billion to meet its climate goals by 2050, about 3% of its projected GDP, with two-thirds of the funding expected from private sources. 🚆 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭: Enhancing connectivity and competitiveness by unlocking private-sector opportunities is crucial for Romania's economic development.
